Answering common questions like:
"What do I do if I have an odd number of thread?"
"How can I make 2 triangle ends after a loop?"
"Where do I find the triangle in my pattern?"
And much more! Click the link to watch :)

Can you do a video on what to do after you do the triangle ends. Do you just start the pattern afterwards?
What if one of the knots in the part of the triangle area is backward on the left side
Can this be done on alpha patterns?
i know I'm quite randomly asking but do anybody know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Dorian Rowan Lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
Bracelets is something I haven't made since the late '80s, and back then all the source I had, was reverse-engineering bracelets i'd buy at the bazaar, and exchanging patterns among friends. I did have a book with 20 or so patterns, but all really basic stuff.
Now I picked up making bracelets again and started browsing the web to improve my technique... i was blown away! I love information era. Thank you Masha for your tutorials, they enabled huge improvements for me.
Have fun! :)
wow this makes starting bracelets so much easier!! all my bracelets used to look really wonky and squished in the beginning, especially the thicker ones!!
I love how you call them "sticky out bits" 😂
lol
I just laughed at the same thought and then laughed again reading your comment 😆
Yes,
@@MsPopo81 I thought same, laughed at meows comment then laughed at yours 🤣 If we keep it going someone's gunna die laughing. Guess there's worse ways to go. 🙂
When you've literally done this five times already and forget again
*ME*
lmao
😂 relatable
Yep 😂
i’ve seen this video so many times and i still have to come back and watch it
Every damn time I make a bracelet I have to come back because I’m convinced I’ll manage to mess it up 😭 some day I’ll be able to do it without needing a guide.. some day
For ending your bracelet, use time stamp 6:44! :D
thank you ive been looking for this comment
wait, thanks. i didnt know i needed this.
Thank u soo soo much
You’re a life saverrrrr
i never realized how much i naturally want to segment knot until i watched this video.
This blew my mind. I have been making bracelets for 20+ years and never tried this! Using this in my next normal bracelet.
🧐 you generally make abnormals?
I DID IT!!! after 4 fails and so much string wasted i did it.. can't wait to finish the full bracelet wooooo
WOOT WOOT 🥳
I’ve done this probably at least 6 times and I still forget how to do it and come back to this video every single time.
I have no idea why it’s so hard for my brain to remember 😂
Great video! Thanks masha knots!
I thought this would be hard but it turns out that this bracelet was very easy! Thankyou for making this video! :)
Could you make a video how you make your bracelets straight and neat?
I would! But there's no secret to it - it's just practice, so the video would be very boring :)
Patti Araiza I’ve noticed it helps if you keep the tightness of your knots consistent. If you pull them too tight one line and then too loose the next line it’ll warp the sides. But it truly does come down to practice so just give it some time and you’ll improve ☺️

Thanks😊

Thank you and keep making videos!! I have learned a lot! They are really entertaining!
@@pattiaramer glad to hear that, thank you! I'm going to get back to making videos as soon as I get home from my holiday :) (January)
This is exactly what i've been looking for,,, thank you really,, you explained it so easily
You talk super fast. I LOVE IT.

I'm a new subscriber, and I found you because you have a fan club. I was on another site asking some questions about how to learn this and someone sent me a message. I should have remembered their name I'm so very sorry for that. Anyway, I hope you have a great night.
How did you pair the colors for the bracelet at 8:18 ruclips.net/video/05sDSDDr5rM/видео.html
Constantly trying to improve my bracelet technique! Thank you!
Backward forward and forward backward knots instead of backward knots and forward knots respectively just helps it look neater in my opinion. Hope this helps you improve even more!
@@ashish656565 thanks for clearing that up 🤣
I just started making bracelets and your tutorials have made it so much easier
My pattern has backward knots in the initial triangle area, what do I do
Another fantastic tutorial. I'll be sure to tag you in my completed designs! You're awesome!
Thank you so much for this video it helped me do #43913 with outter stabilizer threads whooo that was a hard one.
I highly recommend doing that one for a double triangle loop!! No easy chevrons there!
Yay!!! I was waiting for this tutorial
And yes ,pleas do a friendship bracelet collection video
Woo! It's on the list :)
u are the patron saint of friendship bracelet making
im halfway through a bracelet and was wondering how to do a triangle at the end i have stuck down and now i realise i should have done it before i started 😂
This should have a bazillion likes. Thanks
THATS EXACTLY WHAT IM SEARCHING FOR :DD
Hey Masha, new fan here! I was just wondering if there was any way to do a triangle end on a bracelet with an odd number of strings? If not, how do you start/end a bracelet like that? Thanks!
Hi!! I noticed your comment and i just wanted to let you know that i made a playlist for beginners on my channel. I know this is late lol
@@DannyandZed I need it! Thank you
@@laly8989 np
your videos help me out so much and I went from making chevrons to arrowheads and alphas within three weeks thank you ❤️☺️
Thank you so much masha
how do you decide on which triangle you want to use as the basis of the beginning triangle? How do you decide how many rows of pattern to use?
You can use any triangle and you use however many rows you have from the triangle center to the edges
I did it!! So excited! Thank you for your videos!
For the V shape on the bottom, do BF and FB knots otherwise the halfhitch sinnet will make a spiral. Oh, I just realized that I'm thinking of a different method of making the V shaped end using the same outer string as the working end, making BF (left side) or FB (right side) knots over the bundle of strings (adding one thread to the bunch for each new knot).
Thank you so much for this! It makes much more sense now
How do I do it if I don’t use an online pattern? Because I just make bracelets off RUclips tutorials so I don’t use the patterns so how would I do it because I don’t have it to look at?
Hi, Marshall. It would be very helpful you have a complete tutorial from start to finished. Like the teardrops knots.
How do you do this with even number strings that make it so there no set middle? I’m doing at 20 string project and there’s no middle. Does this not work with a pattern that’s primarily FB BF knots?
this is literally the only way i'll start and end bracelets now
Ikr it's so easy and works perfect for adjustable bracelets!
masha, you are so powerful
i hope you have a good day
Thank you, have a good day too!
Thank you so much very easy to understand❤️
Thank you I love the way you explain things!!!!!
Is there a way to combine the straight edge technique with the triangle ends?
Yes, just have the last string you knot onto (when making the triangle) be the edge string
so its kinda like a reverse tear drop loop, good to know 👍
What happens if the knot on the right is a left knot or a backward forward or a forward backward knot?
thank you, this really helped me make a half triangle end!
What happens if there's an even number of tops and there's no middle
what if you dont have that middle one?
You know this is old when she was doing the pattern freaking row by row-
Two questions:
Do you completely ignore the other knots (the ones in black and white) after finishing the beginning triangle?
Furthermore, what row do you start on once you finish the beginning triangle: the first one or the one that comes after the triangle?
The Real Kenny G I always go with the row right after the triangle and follow the pattern as normal until the end triangle
your work is amazing well explain i really want to learn from you how to make nice bracelets thank you
Thank you!
This is super helpful! Is there a way to make the bracelet end in a single point rather than two points, though?
Yeah, just do one :) You can do a loop or something for the other one if you want
ayee this was posted on my birthday.
how do you find the triangle?
linda yea wth
Start from the top and find the middle most knot and go down diagonally from it until you reach the outside. Hope this helps!!
I love it thank you for making this video it really helped me
Love your work!
how do you do this with an odd number of knots on the first row?
What is the name of the pattern?
Çok güzel anlatıyorsunuz👏👍
Videolarınızın devamını bekliyorum😍
Is there a way to wear a bracelet that has a loop at the top and braids at the bottom?
Mary-Jane I was wondering that too
Yes if you do that make a loop at the top and two braids at the bottom. When you are ready to tie it put one braid through the loop and tie both braids together like you would in the beginning of thing a shoe!
uhhhh i came here from your new ish video on checkered bracelet bc you were doing a triangle end but i cant lol!
this helped so much thank you!
I cant believe how easy that is

Gradient, on a pillow, 16-18, Teardrop, triangle ends, and twisted ties :)
If you guys have a problem wih the triangle start being thinner than the triangle end, use backward forward knots on the left side and forward backward knots on the right side
do u make a knot before you start the bracelet like do u make a loop?
This is a little intimidating and will probably take me a lot of practice especially finding the triangle in my pattern.
I like your accent!
Это очень прекрасно🥳🥰
Hi Masha! Do you have a tutorial on how you made this Aztec Bracelet? I am trying to follow the pattern using segment knotting and it's a bit confusing 🤔 Thanks! 🙂
I don’t think masha does yet but, there’s a tutorial on the aztec on Alex’s Innovations channel!
I know this is late but here it is if you still need it, lol
I cant find the triangle....
Would you please make a tutorial about how to make a pattern inside a triangle loop ? 💐
Фени,шикарные🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Amazing
Nice video! I have one question though - what if all the knots of the upper (starting) triangle , from the middle to the sides, are of the same color?
what do you do if your triangle doesn't include all of the strings that are supposed to be in the bracelet?
Hi! How do you continue with your pattern after you Made the triangle?
My question exactly. Do you go right to the next row from the triangle or start all the way from the top?
next row after the triangle :)
good luck!
continue row by row after the triangle
What pattern number is this.
You ended in the video on row 8. I was wondering what the next rows are.
U saved my life with this ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ/♡
I made the rainbow heart pattern bracelet and I started with a half triangle start how do I end with the same start so they connect if you put the tops together they fit well
Thank you very useful video.
👍
Great, thank you❤️
Did you just braid the end after making the triangle?
Actually, no. I twisted the ties at the end. I did a photo tutorial on this a while ago, you can find it here: www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/73_two-minute-twisted-bracelet/
@@MashaKnots how do you twist them? Do you twist them as in making rope? Or do you just twirl them?
@@damedesmontagnes I've since made a video on it, you can watch it on my channel :)
Masha Knots what is the number of this bracelet?
Can you show how to go from the horizontal line down to the V shape at the bottom
judopimp69 you have to make the v looking at your pattern on the bracelet
@@kawonkim7142 now it's just figuring out the order of strings for the top triangle
I know this videos a little old but I’m trying this method and I was wondering if we start by having 2 separate bundles of string or fold them so it’s one?
You can do two triangles & then connect them if that's what you're asking. I sometimes do that with loops (you can see on my insta)
ive never made triangle ends before but i think on my most recent bracelet im going to end it with triangle ends
How would I shape the end on an Alpha bracelet pattern? Thank journalists for sharing.
Other helpful video! I love it! :)))
How do you make the spiral end?
What is if in the pattern in the First row isnt a middlepoint but in the Second row
Should i make the Triangel in the Second ?
Great Video Love your Channel ❤️
Yes, you can do it from any point (doesn't actually have to be the middle point, but then the triangle will be uneven) And thank you :)
Masha Knots i mean can i do it in the middle in the Second Row because in some pattern there is no middlepoint in the First Row But in the Second Row can i do the traingle from this Point ?
@@rosamia7911 Yes, as I said, any point really
Does this only work for patterns with an even number of strings? I'm struggling to figure out how to start a normal pattern with an odd number of strings
Can we make an adjustable bracelet using this type of loop in the beginning?
ILike your videos and I have a question what is the strings that you're using for the bracelets
Perfect!
Thank you!!
How do you tie the braclet on your wrist if it has a loop and two braids? Sorry I can't seem to figure it out!
You put the braids through the loop
my question is, what if in your beginning triangle there's a backward/forward spot? do you still follow it as the pattern shows?
Hi! Please respond. I didnt understand the part where you said to only do the highlighted part of the triangle for the end. Wouldnt you do all of it up to the end of the triangle for the strings to fall into place?
Please make a video for half triangle ends!!!!
Hi! Just wondering, how long would you say your string is??
It's different for each bracelet but about 1m on average
How do you do this if you don’t have a pattern? I’m making a bracelet but I watched a tutorial and they didn’t show the image of the pattern (like one from braceletbook)
Is there a way I could do this triangle pattern then move into an alpha bracelet for the rest of the way? I want to keep a pattern with my base strings in the triangle instead of doing it with the leading string - would this work?
How does this work with a non symmetrical pattern and different colors on each side?
How do you use it?
