I'm a real Life Conductor for Canadian Pacific and this game is absolutely legit. I use to improve my actual skills in my real life job.
Yes but the problem with this sim is you need to be a real-life train driver to play it. Someone forgot to tell them that it is a game. I have 5 years experience in this product since 2015 and was unable to just jump into a train and drive TSW3 on XBOX CLOUD. I gave up after trying to do a cold and dark start from the manual. I launch the Quickstart ‘jump into a train’ menu and I end up in a training scenario. I just wanted to try the product on subscription for 10 minutes not do a 2 hour training course. I am sure it is a fantastic product but they have the learning-curve set way too high for a 10 year old kid looking for some fun for example.
In flight simulator MSFS you are at the end of a runway with all engines running ready for takeoff if you are a ‘casual’ user.

I just bought my first train sim TSW 3 and I was hoping to find out where to learn all those light signals because looks like sim does not teach me what they mean, the only thing I know is the speed limit but other signals and lights how I'm supposed to know if I need to slow down or stop somewhere and other stuff.
You can search for specific guides on youtube or just hover over the sub reddit for this!
It feels boring after sometimes. Its like the game you keep and play when you're tired of AAA games 🙂

The only route I have is the training center, I want to DO SOMETHING! I JUST FOUND THIS GAME IN MY LIBRARY BUT I CANT DO ANYTHING! THE STORE EVEN SAYS I OWN A COUPLE STUFF! BUT WHERE IS IT?
The DLCs took so long to download, this is why I couldn't get into the simulator. Now it's installed fully, seems to be working as it should!

@@alcineofficial now I've got another DLC and it keeps saying waiting to install, but it never does isaw on RUclips it could be a problem with the region mismatch. The DLC may be a different region to the original game.

I completed the 4 tutorials, but now I can't get any further. Quick play doesn't work , my character is level 2 not sure if that is the issue. Trains Routes , Route tasks doesn't work?

Unreal Engine Physics suck. The trains are coded to follow the spline paths and if it collides with something they don't follow spline anymore and just get thrown away.

Don't agree with you on 'complete tutorials' tip. The center is totally useless and a waste of time instead the quick play feature is good to go!

I like the design the damn train cj reference. That’s a GTA San Andreas reference. I do think it’s out of taste given that TSW is rated G and GTA is M but cool reference anyway.

It's just that when your video popped up in my recommended, the first thing I saw was the thumbnail of a clearly Japanese train with a picture that could look like it was actual TSW3 promotion material.
Then I read the title and watched the video.
Further context; although I enjoy TSW3 greatly, I'm one of those people that's incredibly disappointed by the fact that there's so far only really US/UK/DE routes, and Japanese content would be greatly appreciated.
There's nothing to correct though, and it wasn't meant as criticism either :)

Well there is no asian route in TSW3 so it is a bit misleading
It's a beginners guide only. There is nothing misleading tbh. The title and the thumbnail represents the content of the video itself!
Just one question to anyone who can answer it. 🤔 Why is it i cannot or it will not enable north western routes It only does european or south / south western routes This is not only highly annoying but, totally unfair to other routes & destinations throughout the UK not even Welsh narrow gauge or Scots rail is allowed. There clearly should be more choice on these rail sims not what is or not allowed. You should be able to put in your own stations & routes not be totally restricted to what is only available in the game. I know PS 3 & 4 versions you can only do what is in the game ( disc) But, what about PC or steam versions can they be altered ( upgraded ) to add on's such as what I have already mentioned. 🤔🤔🤔🤔😠😠😠 C'mon it has to be much better on the PS4 & 5 versions at least. 😟😟😟😟
