- Part 9 of 13 for completing the Halo 2 LASO playlist in the Master Chief Collection which will grant you the "Back for More" achievement.
Level - Quarantine Zone
Difficulty - Legendary
Skulls - Skulls will automatically be selected when you select the Halo 2 LASO playlist. They are as follows: Anger, Assassin, Black Eye, Blind, Catch, Famine, Ghost, Grunt Birthday Party, Iron, IWHBYD, Mythic, Sputnik, That's Just...Wrong, and Thunderstorm.

I hate everytime I hear "and for the next mission we have X, arguably the toughest mission in all of Halo". After dealing with TNR, The Library, Two Betrayals, Cairo Station, and Regret this statement causes more anxiety than a cop driving behind you lol
Tip on meleeing flood bodies to break them faster. Jump and then hit them as your feet hit the floor, it cuts the time it takes to break them in half
Yep! In Halo 2 melee damage is partially based on your momentum. So stationary melees do the least damage, running melees do more damage, and jumping/falling melees do the most damage

On PC, you pull up the nose of the Ghost and Spectre with CTRL, not space.

Changing any settings, especially keybindings, on MCC is just a mess... Wish they changed it or at least "unlocked" the files so the community could make tools for it.
it's whatever is bound to vehicle function 2. for me it's Shift.
@@AQDuck I have no issue changing keybindings? It's pretty easy? The only thing annoying me is the inability to have 2 binds for the same thing. I've also had no issues changing 99% of the settings... So why is your version so faulty?

easy mission only with all the skips.. that gondola part would have been pretty hard if there wasn't that easy skip, I remember having a hard time on legendary without skulls back in the day.
I like jervalin's route. He does an out of bounds jump at 2:13 so that none of the enemies are loaded in until you're on the gondola

Took only 18 minutes to clear this one. My partner had a little trouble with the warthog that comes out of the first gate past the sentinels and whatever else fighting each other.
He couldn't get his shields up in time, the NPCs started to move. I don't know if we triggered it by moving too close or what, but they boarded their vehicles and the sentinels came out so we just booked it.
No real issue. Towards the end, shoot through the roof if you want a safer exit path. You should have plenty of ammo considering you didn't need to use it until the end of the ghost run. It won't really matter, though.
A nice and quick easy one to cap off the day :D Not liiking forward to what Gravemind has in store though... 21/46
Whatever you do when on the ceiling of the gondola if it's moving horizontal in the first part of the ride don't jump since you get launched forward with barely time to recover

I wonder if anyone actually plays that gondola on anniversary graphics. It's just way too dark
4:15 lol, if you turn around and go back to the door where you just boosted past all the flood. You may notice like 6 elite spawned im behind you! It's some kind of glitch we caused because 4 spec ops elites and 2 regular elites spawn out nowhere. Usually there is only 1 Spec Ops and he's Invincible......so, i began to beat them down. As it turns out, only the one shipmaster is Invincible. The rest you can be down, or off, or whatever you enjoy. None of them turned on me for killing their friends. So if you turn around and this glitch happens to you......free double overshield!
Edit: it kept happening after save/quit, so i played around with it some. One purple elite spawns in without a weapon! This is really weird. If you go and punch the other purple elite, the unarmed one will stand up tall in a strange pose I've never seen them do before. Not a t-pose, but maybe that's the Elite equivalent. Too bad we couldn't get these guys to follow along to the next part of the mission.

It's not included in the LASO playlist, only the classic H2 skulls, minus Envy

This was sooo helpful for beating this on legendary I was going to be worried about this one but thanks to this I beat it in about 10 minutes the flood just before you leave the crash site gave me trouble. Also sub to rocket sloth!
Based off the video of times alone, would you say CE is more difficult than H2?
CE and 2 are definitely the toughest. Most would say H2 is the most difficult, though.

@@Hi-vu3to Yes, So you have done Truth and Reconciliation, Two Betrayals and The Library and still think Halo 2 is harder? For me atleast TnR was extremely difficult, Halo CE is an older clunkier game and Halo 2 has a much wider array of despawn glitches and out of the map glitches, Sure if you took halo 2 head on with no glitches sure that would be way harder.
These past two missions have been cancer
Edit: if you're not fast enough at 4:07 enemies will spawn at the door and make advancement impossible
Does anyone know why the allies on the gondola don’t respond when the flood attack them? I tried playing through the level normally on Legendary and it was really frustrating
Puneet Kumar no I did it normally afaik except I drove my ghost straight off the platform at the beginning instead of going down the ramps
I noticed this too. I wonder if it's an MCC thing. They were never this passive in OG halo2
Generalkidd did a video on it ruclips.net/video/GSOSf0B1FSE/видео.html. Something to do with the gondola Elites' A.I. being tied to some other Elites that spawn behind you in the corridor. If you go to the gondola too quickly, the Elites in the corridor don't have time to spawn nor load in their A.I., and hence the Elites on the gondola also don't have any active A.I. Bungie couldn't get A.I units to work properly on moving platforms, which is why the gondola Elites need their A.I. to be linked to some static Elites standing in the corridor.

Hey Silver, can you do this with multiple friends over multiple laso playlists? Or do you need to complete the same whole playlist to get the achievement?
As long as you've completed all the levels in the playlist it will unlock after completing the final mission, regardless of how many different partners you had.
But can you play in multiple playlists? Lets say half of the levels in your playlist and then the other half in a friends playlist who completed the first half solo
That should be fine, you're both in the playlist. Haven't heard of that being a problem.
rik raeymaekers Only if you’re playlist says “15/15” or whatever amount of levels there are in the LASO playlist. You can’t join halfway through, for example. You need to do every level.

When I'm waiting on the ramp just before the tunnel, the Flood never come from the tunnel and I get shot to shit by something from behind and are forced to cloak and go straight into the tunnel Flood. Fucking RNG.

You forgot to mention theres a high possibility that there will be 3 ghosts following the warthog at 0:55 and will destroy you in an instant.
If you're fast you despawn them.
FYI, on the gondola ride, there's a little vent like thing at the bottom you can just sit at the back of and no enemies no where you spawn so you can just run at the end!
Does the legendary master chief saga counts LASO Master achievement?
Unless it specifies that it is either a LASO or all the skulls are on I would imagine not
No I think you have to do the individual playlists per halo game for it unlock (and its highly recommended anyway).
I'm not 100% sure, I'd just stick with the individual ones to be sure.
Halo Completionist I’m sure it doesn’t, the achievements specify you do the individual game playlist.
Just 100% RNG, no actual skill involved with this one...
