Thanks for this video! This is all great news from Ford. I have been a Ford fan for 45+ years. Have owned 2 Mustangs a Taurus, Fusion and an Explorer! Hoping to get another Explorer or a Bronco. Ford is #1!!!
We have also had a Taurus, no Explorer yet but we have owned over 10 mustangs, a Focus, an Escape, 3 Broncos, several F150s, a Ford Ranger, Mercury Sable and I'm certainly missing a few. Overall the mix between innovation, power, quality and reliability is excellent. Toyota is more reliable in general but there motors are often dated, low power and not always very fuel efficient. Toyota is a reliability leader and is at the opposite end for innovation amd power. LEXUS 300 is f sport for example is 100hp under competitors

Hybrids make more sense than relying strictly on EV. (Who wants to off-road in a vehicle in the wilderness, if they’re unsure they can charge up to get them back to civilization?)
The downside is they end up being just as expensive as EVs, or their capability is sacrificed in a way that alienates the entire fan base of the brand.

Really like your site and reviews, I’ve been a loyal ford driver since the early 90s, and if ford goes to plug-in only for their hybrids, I suspect that I’ll be moving to a brand that would still use just the hybrid option
