They don't have twins the mothers body is built for one baby, it is very rare for a macaque to have twins, if you ever see on any of these channels a macaque with two babies one nurses and the other cries its because one is not hers.

I have been looking for a pigtail, they often have an unusually swollen bum. The only pigtail is Rose, she doesn't have a special bum.
Daisy is very overweight and that is uncomfortable. But she doesn't have a particularly swollen bum.
She is in heat. They often look like that but not absolutely necessary. They can still get pregnant and not have “ red butt” according to the scientific community.

this is a classic case of overbreeding due to captivity and no breeding control. Because they don't have a large social group, these type of monkeys have at least a troop of 50, the one that has the twins or triplets can't cope with providing for those 2 or 3 babies and since the rest of the troop are seeing that it's being mistreated, they are mistreating it as well. This is a classic case of animal cruelty! This is not a zoo, this is not a foundation, this is animal cruelty for profit.

You are wrong that they usually consist of "at least 50 members". The average long tailed macaque troop consists of anywhere from 6 to 60 members with the average troop size being around 20. Macaques have one baby at a time. It is extremely rare for them to ever have twins and they do not have triplets. This does NOT have anything at all to do with animal cruelty! Maybe educate yourself a bit before passing along so much misinformation and acting as though it is fact when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about!

@@veronicakohne477 of course they do. But it's a little more dramatic than needs to be because it's Draya. She's always over the top about everything. She has clearly understood her rank very early. Don't get me wrong. Draya is adorable and her confidence is always something to watch. Her freak out because she couldn't find her mom is a departure from her usual antics and funny. Just as long as she's not hurt.

I cant believe that poor momma monkey has tried so hard to wean the oldest one without actually getting him weaned. I saw him on another video and she was trying so hard, but he would never give up and accept it. Now hes taking nourishment from the younger baby. She must be exhausted from the clingy older one.
