Spectrum Cable Box Turns Off By Itself - Here's How to Fix!

Is your Spectrum cable box or Cox cable box turning off by itself? New cable boxes will come with a setting that makes them do this. Additionally, there will be updates from time-to-time that also make the cable box turn off automatically.

Press SETTINGS
Press PREFERENCES
Press DIGITAL RECEIVER
Press AUTO POWER DOWN and turn it OFF
Press ENERGY SAVING and turn if OFF

It does not work. Every morning when I turn on the tv it says no signal and have to manually press power button on the cable box to start the tv

Call your cable company as they will know which cable box you have and how those menus populate. P.S. The power save function woldn't have anything to do with not being able to continuously play a series. Tell them what is going on specifically...maybe a bad hard drive?@@Organic_Pagan
