I have only recently found your channel and made my way through your vlogs, and i have to say, ”What a joy and an escape for the soul.” It is great to see you getting back on your feet, and doing what you obviously love best; with the passion, enthusiasm and honesty that emanates from your very core. Walking is something that does not cost the earth, but brings so many benefits to the mind, body and soul; there is so much beauty around us, if we only take the time to open our eyes. Best foot forward.

Hi Abbie, thanks for taking us along with you. You were blessed with glorious weather. We’ve done the walk from Lynmouth to Watersmead House a few times as we love it so much. ( cream tea at the House is great too).
I particularly enjoyed you in the “stick swing” 😀 and then the tumble at the end... very funny ...
also glad you made it to your car in daylight x Elena

This video was a wonderful escapism Abbie! There were so many surprises in this walk too; from the sea mist, to the fires, and the swing! You were certainly braver than me to try that out! 🍂🍃 Thanks for taking us along. That campfire at the end looks so inviting too! 🔥

Completed this yesterday! My 2nd walk recommended by you, so thank you! It was absolutely stunning 🥰 We stopped at The Ancient Mariner and had a cream tea too! I was tempted to tell them we were here because of you, so you’d get a free cup of tea or something next time, but of course, remained very British and said nothing but Thank You haha! Such a stunning walk, thanks for sharing!!

What a beautiful walk, i can see you why you are so fond of it. I too struggle with the sensory perception thing, especially with regards to man made noise. When in nature alone, all the anxiety just melts away, the contrast in state of mind is sometimes overwhelming. Great to see you walking and having fun Abbie :)

As soon as you touched the flowing water with your hand, my tension eased and i felt at peace. What an amazing shore cliff trail or the coastal path probably. The tree stump portal reminded me of the book The Faraway Tree, characters lived on the tree. :-) by Edith Blyton. I wouldn't have been able to resist the tree swing either.. An amazing circular walk. Thank you.

Really nicely filmed Abbie...one of my favourite parts of the country. I've actually stayed in the little cottages at Rockford which you passed. A mate and I would fish the river every year (trying to relive our youths !!)..You have to park one side of the river and walk your bags over the tiny bridge....keep up the great work and I'm sure you're inspiring many people

Hey Abbie, thanks for sharing such a great walk. Glad you got some much needed time out. Your expert mounting of the rope swing was really impressive as was the breathtaking dismount. I give you a 10 out of 10 on that one. Hope all is well. Cheers from Arkansas.

Marvellous walk and video. It's a pity I live in Essex...makes it difficult to "pop" to Exmoor or Dartmoor at short notice especially in the summer what with all the traffic in both directions and it being so busy with visitors. By the way, you have great sense of humour.

Great video, very uplifting. I find your videos highly therapeutic! I am currently walking around the coast of Britain in stages (done from Dorset to near Colchester - about 500 miles out of 5500). Have you thought of doing the entire coast of Britain? I think coastal walking is the best.

Loved this walk! So much can happen in a day huh? And what a beautiful walk. So happy you took the river path, and that swing! I would of done the same thing but you were definitely alot more graceful than I would of been. This past weekend I went on my first walk. I'm terribly out of shape physically again after a winter of inactivity and my walk was only 3 kilometers... but you have to start somewhere right? Thanks for the enjoyable and inspirational video!

Hi, I've recently come across your channel. Great stuff. I wonder if you could give us an example of how you plan a walk. Do you sit at the kitchen table with maps considering the places you've been (maybe an area is good for only one walk). Do you spend much time on the history on your route (for your "travelogues") are some places more difficult to justify the trip? All that stuff

Hi Abbey , I watched your walk in Scotland last night and loved seeing my fathers homeland through your camera and descriptions. I found you easy to listen to and loved the greens and the creeks, and history. It means a lot to me that you are doing this & mentioned that sometimes your mental health is not so robust either. At 72 I know I will not be travelling halfway around the world to see this in person so thank you very much. Heather from New Zealand.
