    Great informative video. Awesome.
    Question: Should we erase the El Capitan installer after everything is done?

    I can't seem to find my installer! it keeps saying no installer available

    • @bootstrapjesse
      @bootstrapjesse 8 лет назад +1

      +dre20748 Get it from App Store > Purchased . Download it. When it's complete you will find it in /Applications/Install OS X Yosemite.app Not your Applications folder, the one at the top level of your system drive.

      +Andre Pollard Hi Andre. Did you allow diskmaker to complete? It takes about 45 mins on my system. Where are you trying to install to? What type of computer do you have? I find that its easier to run the installer directly from an existing installation and install to an attached disk, and then rearrange as needed.

      diskmaker was complete. I am using a 2010 macbook pro. I am going to try to install the EFI and boot tonight to see if that works.

    After I confirm that I want to continue and erase my USB stick, mine says this...
    "Erasing drive '/Volumes/Untitled'..." doesn't understand teh message.
    Is it saying that my thumb drive doesn't understand the command? It then gives me an option to edit. Any ideas?
