This part of supernatural confused me a little since it shows a flash back of a full grown Dean and a child Cole
I always thought the timeline didn't quite match up
Because it would make Dean a whole lot older than he is suppose to be
That or the flashback where shows kid Cole wasn't as young as he looked

Well, if Cole was between 13-16 years when his dad was killed in ‘03 (two years before the show starts), which is how old the child actor looked, then that means by the time we get to season 10 which takes place in late 2015, approximately 10 years since the start of the show, which gives us 12 years.
So, take the 12 years add that to how old Cole was at the time, again between 13 and 16, and his age in season ten should be anywhere between 25 and 28. And the guy who plays older Cole looks to be in that late twenties-to-early-thirties bracket.
If they go with, he was 13 when it happened, and then spent the next 12 years trying to find Dean, then that would be almost exactly half his life.
For some reason dean is hot when hes a demon in this part....

He was parting his hairs to the left while he was a demon. That look suited him more.
That moment when Dean tells Cole he's past saving and says he can take the shot if he wants, that's the most heart breaking part of this whole thing. The fact that Dean feels that way about himself... It's not a good way to feel.

Couple things I absolutely love about this scene.
- Jensen Ackles' acting is top-notch. Everything about his facial expressions and his demeanor are so good. He's still Dean but it's like a dark, twisted version of him, with all of his worst qualities coming to the forefront until that's all he is. Just... so good.
- For that matter, Travis Aaron Wade as Cole. The man does such a perfect portrayal of a guy who's spent his whole life chasing down his enemy but still has some humanity in him, unlike others who go down that road until they lose sight of everything else (John Winchester, Gordon Walker). He gets more and more frustrated as Dean makes a mockery of his entire life and he realizes that everything he's gone through up until now was for nothing as Dean outclasses him by just that much.
- Finally, Dean's skill. John Winchester was a US Marine Corps veteran and was well-known even among the Hunter community for his skill. He passed on that skill to Sam and Dean, especially Dean who was raised more like a soldier than a son and embraced the Hunter lifestyle compared to Sam who wanted nothing to do with it. Dean not only was trained in combat by a Marine Corp veteran, but also has been fighting monsters like ghouls, vampires, and werewolves, all of whom have enhanced strength, and later demons who are ridiculously powerful and dangerous. This scene, if I remember correctly, is AFTER Dean kills three demons in Cain's cabin. Whether he's got the Mark of Cain or not, you can see just how good Dean is. Man, I loved this show. Wish I could watch it for the first time all over again.
I think coles dad was some east asian monster that moved abroad. The nine tailed fox. Eating raw livers, having shape shifting powers, begging for mercy pretending to be innocent. It all fits with the nine tailed fox. And not only are they rare, but are quite hard to kill. Thats why dean probably had to go full out and make it gory, and not be able to hide it from cole. Usually dean is quite in killing.

Jamari J. Williams Not all. Like its been proven that sam is a superior fighter to dean. Not by a huge margin but enough to get an upper hand on him. So they should give him more hand to hand fights. Not take away deans but make it even.
Sgt. Jokester I haven't kept up with the show since like idk I wanna say 2012 but is I remember correctly the only time Dean lost a fight to Sam was when Sam had super powers of some sort. Wether it be Rubi or Lucifer or whatever.
Jamari J. Williams that was one. And anytime dean beat sam it was while HE was inhanced. One by the mark and when he was a demon.
You probably don't agree but overall Dean is the better fighter. They are both amazing but if there are no barriers, nothing to hold them back then Dean will have the slightest edge. (For example the fight in season 4 over the siren)
:40 to :44 is my absolute favorite part of this exchange.
Love how Sam is just a collateral in this Dean vs Cole arc 🤣 being ragdolled by both parties

Me too, since Dean said it was the only of its kind he's seen, still yet to see another. Maybe Dean should have named it, like he did with the Jefferson Starships 😂

They opened the door for Cole that never should have been opened. Cole will never be " whole " again. And either he himself or his son/daughter or his grandkids will become Hunters. You can't just see what's behind that door- then softly close it and walk away. Ain't gonna happen. The damage to your heart and your soul is too great.

In a sense it was good thing Cole fought dean when he was a demon, otherwise he may not have believed his story.
The editing In the first fight was hilarious.
Take him on a hunt. Let him see the whole picture. Show him some of the monsters you deal with.

I really wish Cole had joined the group and gotten to stick around. So many great characters are only around for a few episodes then they either disappear or die. Cole was one of my favorite introductions in these seasons, and I was hoping with him studying supernatural creatures that he'd become a hunter.

Jensen had far too much fun playing Demon-Dean and it was a part that did not last long enough. Having a full season with Demon-Dean would have been fantastic.

Because if helps you get fired up and increase the rush of adrinalin or at least that's for me another thing screaming a little bit doesn't make much of a difference in your stamina unless you are running but in a fight when you are standing in one place it's not significant if you screamed a bit

That's a bad idea. Remember, most hunters die with their guts ripped out at 30. No one with a family (more so kid) should be a hunter.

I love how exasperated Dean is with the holy water in the face. And Cole was a great character a lot of character development in a handful of episodes. I wish he had more time on screen but ah well. Maybe he listened to Dean and did the smart thing and retired

Because of his abilities.. nobody even not sam..would had a chance to catch him.. so he must have a weakness.. or cas have to see him murder the world.. i dont have a problem with that.. but i just dont want cas to endure this possibility... so he has to react to holy water.. like any other demon.. thats sad eighter

Don't try to find any logic with the Knights of Hell (which Deanmon was effectively) and the Princes of Hell. Sadly you can clearly see that the Princes of Hell were an immense after-thought, so they suddenly became much stronger than Azazael/Yellow-Eyes ever was...I mean, the guy didn't get a name after his death, but still when a demon told Dean about him, she said something like "His name is Azazael...what, do you thought his followers called him Yellow-Eyes?" If everything was planned out, she would have just called him a Demon Prince then and there.

Idk, some of those accusers later came back and said they were lying, and made public apologies online. There is a Tumblr post that screenshotted the posts and had a lot to say on the TAW case. Maybe he's not 100% innocent, but I do think some of that got blown out of proportion due to outlying variables. But even from everything else I’ve read about, the guy seemed like he was still difficult to work with so…Still, they could have just recast him, and save themselves the trouble.

Ngl. I'm amazed this show lasted as long as it did. Even getting up to like season 8. It just started going in circle. Tbf, 90% of the show even before that was basically filler. Didn't really pick back up until the final few seasons.

I don't mind the actor, but why would they go for a guy that's 15 years older than his character? It would be better to change the story then. Either that it happened further back in time or that Cole was much older when Dean killed his dad.
Good point. He is actually 3 years older than Jensen. In one video he made a comment about being considered for the part of Dean, but stated Jensen was the right choice.
+Lah nonname yeah I won't believe a word he said. Even he went that far to say he was consider for the role of capitain america too but JA won that part too 😒 Funny that producers talked about J2 gave those roles just bc were the 2 ONLY actors who made it to the auditions to cast.
I just assume he is way delusional and has a jellous thing about Jensen awhile ago and can't take a rejection very well. He was the worst error of cast of all for SPN, not for the character, for the kind of persom he is.
Yeah, he was about 12 or 14 when it happened, but only 8 years passed, according to Cole. He looks much older than a 20 year old, and with way too much background(military, family...) Still a bad ass character, would make a great Hunter.

They really dropped the ball on Cole. Could have been a great recurring character who became a hunter. Maybe even replace Bobby as another staple to the show, but they just forgot about him.
That would've been awesome! He was one of the best characters from Season 10, and he survived a fight against Demon Dean. I wish he would've stuck around for at least a couple more seasons. Even if he died later on, Cole would've been a hero and a badass until the end.

Cas is super powered down by this point. Remember he's working with only a fraction of the grace that he originally used to have. And time travel takes a lot of juice (Cas passed out after he took Sam and Dean to the past to prevent Anna from killing their parents)
Honestly,
Dean is the best hand to hand combat fighter ever in Supernatural Universe in terms of skill and tactics
He is the most selfless person ever.
One more point that man people will start a war for it but I am gonna say it is that
He deserved better than Sam as he sacrificed his whole d*** life for Sam watching him grow and looking after like a Father but Sam left him many times without any regrets or caring about how Dean would feel.

Sadly the Sam stopping him is the shows method to have dean not be the bad guy. Its a damn shame. The show did so many variations of having each brother go bad at some point, and this fight was the natural extension of a season long storyline. The fact that Sam even with a broken arm is easily able to put demon dean down is incredibly predictable and disappointing
