If your trailer catches fire like that this is what to do. Stop ASAP, unlock the 5th wheel air, pull trailer brake handle, go forward to slide the 5th wheel all the way back, apply the brake and emergency, run out and pull the handle, release parking brakes, drop the trailer on the ground and move the truck far away. Depending on the freight it could get very dangerous and the hot ash could burn your truck as well.
Some guy commented about not sliding the 5th wheel back. You could do that but when the trailer drops on the tires and frame the crossbar between the frame catches the kingpin and you’re stuck. I forgot to mention the air lines and power cable. You’re going to want to disconnect those as well if you have time. If the trailer is already a ball of fire screw the cables you can replace those.

Rusty; I have been out here with a Class A CDL for 27 years. The level of aggressive driver has become incredible in the last 10 years. The level of ME FIRST and self entitlement is the same and the level of Class A drivers that ARE ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS of the vehicle they drive when they follow too closely, text while driving, attempt to drive tired... is also out of control. I’ve been out here on the road trucking for over forty years and never, never had any problems to warrant self defense. Now that doesn’t mean that I am not keeping my defense up. Keep up on the road series. Awesome seein the country
I se you are learning, I've been through those hills when they were a rough 2 Lane in a 1951 GMC with sleeper tri Plex and slower than smoke off a pile shit.
I carry all the time! Just look at the laws for the state's you heading into to see if they share with Your home state on the ccw. The most you have to do is unload it a lock it away in some states.
Been driving for 17years and only been to Cali once😒

Stay Safe out there bud!
Welcome to trucking after 17years out here people dont surprise me anymore. Only thing that happens now is omg how did they do that never seen a pickup climb a telephone pole. Or wait hold on that truck is wrong side of the road and there is a wall but the car dont have a scratch how the...
If I SURVIVE the next three years, that's it for me. Driving has turned into a dreaded chore and when you add to that the TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY FUCKED INFRASTRUCTURE it's no longer fun.
I’ve been out here on the road trucking for over forty years and never, never had any problems to warrant self defense. Now that doesn’t mean that I am not keeping my defense up. I have learned over the years to just shut up about yourself and drive on. Like a ship passing through the night. Yielding no problems.
Love from india bro i always watch your videos
You need a APO so you don't have to idle the truck People are too much.in a hurry. It is a sham one has to watch you do and what they do. Be careful
thanks for the cross country video, nice to see coast to coast in one segment, there is another trucker, you tuber that titles his vids life on the road, just giving you a heads up, the comment about things you hate about California and all the gays......dude, the world has changed, someone will be upset with that comment, it could get your video taken down, and you could loose you job if the right person goes after you, yes there is freedom of speech, but sometimes it can bite you in the ass, people are people, how other people live there lives, shouldn't be any of out business, the thumbs down likely had to do with the comment.....other than that great video, look forward to the next one, be safe out there driver

If you have questions about the CCW, I’d suggest you join a group like USCCA (there’s several out there) and get advice from of their attorney’s. There’s lots of different rules depending on the state your and they will pay legal fees if you do end up having to defend yourself
There's a giant Brass Pro shop in that pyramid in Memphis
