Making a Wooden Playing Card box for my Mum

I make a wooden playing card box for my Mum out of reclaimed Rimu. It's for playing 500, which needs two packs and a pad to write the score on. I put some inlay into the lid as well.

Great video! What were your overall dimensions for the outside box? Wanting to make something similar, got the thicknesses (5mm,3mm) from the video, but not the height, length.

Thanks Scribe. I used a standard pack of cards in the box of 65mm x 95mm and I built the box around that dimension for two packs of cards. Allowing for the thickness of the timber this is how I worked out the final size of the box. I hope this helps.
