Being a baseball fan and Jose Canseco be one of my favorite players growing up. You could tell from year to year but not only him but other players were on something. Major League baseball new this too they're not stupid but they knew with these Mammoth home runs it would bring people to the ballpark and that would lead to more money. Once they felt like they couldn't capitalize on it anymore or became public somehow some way they had to hurry up and do damage control and people like Jose Canseco and others were punished for it. Don't get me wrong cheating is cheating and it's not cool and it's against all the rules and values of the game. And I do feel that a lot of these guys should be in the Hall of Fame even if it's with the asterisk by their name so what. Because a lot of them were great baseball players before the steroids/ped's.
I also grew up a huge Canseco fan. After the "steroid era" homeruns didnt leave the yard 15 ft off the ground where if you were sitting down the line you could hear the seams of the baseball as it cut through the air. As a dodgers fan it wasnt until they traded for Manny Ramirez that the no-doubt-about-it type of homerun was back. Then he tested dirty...but ill tell you something, that type of homerun is back again. They say they teach launch angle to players now blah blah blah...testing is usually behind the curve of the latest and greatest pharmas....
He said he never took steroids but he cheated a drug test and giving on his behavior and history it was probably because of weed and cocaine use which isn’t steroids and he definitely has the history of it Holyfield was on the list that was covered by espn saying he in fact did take roids and had a alias name
like he said they were all using and baseball knew, but only singled him out , even if he was fininshed as a player like some clowns have commented hge could have still gotten a job as coach or something, but the leaqgue blackballed him,,,
Long gone are the days where real men take their punishments like MEN and not take the crabby way out by snitching on others. Misery clearly loves company.
Canseco and mark Mcguire were some of my favorite 2 players as a kids growing up in the 80's and 90's! Then one day Mark mcguire became almost as large as canseco and started smacking home runs like crazy it was weird! Canseco was always bigger than him up to that point. I'm a yankees fan but as a kid i liked alot of players on different teams. PD's are bad news! Almost ruined baseball but it needed to be exposed.

Karma's the most beautiful thing.
Edit - remember, karma is only a bxtch when you do shadey things.
Not always. Way too many former criminals are successful right now just because of their past actions.
@@Ty-vj4wg it has a weird way of catching up with people. I bet a good % of those successful criminals have had tragic things happen to them. Up to a point where they have enough money/influence to get out of anything. And I bet the worst of them are so untouchable that I (and most ppl) have no idea who they are and what they've done. It disgusts me that the biggest criminals normally have the most powerful ppl protecting them. You're right. But I believe that one day karma will catch up to them.
Hope that wasn't too rambling and more importantly that you're good.
@@Ty-vj4wg Sammy The Bull and Michael Franzese immediately come to mind....excellent point T y
Cheating and taking steroids wasn’t shadey huh 🤦🏽♂️
lol go to school
Whoa. Went broke after the book. Thats rough.
Theres steroids in the GMO food that we all eat, big deal. I still cant hit a homer
This guy coined the term juice?
Raphael Palero 😂.
So, HOW does he "get at Major League baseball" by putting the players' names in it.
Attacking the brand/integrity of the sport... I think
@@anilgill6846 yes thats why all the drug testing and punishments got way stricter , and congress got involved.
By saying management let them do it,turned a blind eye to make 💰💰💰🤑
Can you imagine how many home runs the bash brothers wouldve hit if they stole signs like the Astros lol
Damn he used to be pretty normal he was a hero long ago
who's rafael pallyero?
I still say evander holyfeild would never beat mike tyson if he didn't cheat with steroids
Facts
Mike Tyson did steroids as well, he admitted it
@@IblewuponyourfaceIII when
He said he never took steroids but he cheated a drug test and giving on his behavior and history it was probably because of weed and cocaine use which isn’t steroids and he definitely has the history of it Holyfield was on the list that was covered by espn saying he in fact did take roids and had a alias name
@@kevhawk2014 few years ago, he said he would use a fake penis to filled with someone else’s piss to pass the test.

When does he get out of prison? And what's with the Don't Do Rag?
You should have left all of them out you the only one that got caught
like he said they were all using and baseball knew, but only singled him out , even if he was fininshed as a player like some clowns have commented hge could have still gotten a job as coach or something, but the leaqgue blackballed him,,,
Long gone are the days where real men take their punishments like MEN and not take the crabby way out by snitching on others.
This dude blinking is driving me crazy!
