I tried this but it just says "there was a problem resetting your pc" (I'm on a laptop).

No blue screen appeared.
I have try doing this but it keeps asking me for a windows installation or a recovery media plus the laptop I trying to use is either windows 8.1 or 8.5 also can I even use their of the windows installation or recovery media being locked out of my laptop?
These type videos seem really simple until you try them out yourself! Got to the Troubleshoot screen no problem but after you hit Remove Everything it asks for a 48 digit security key

That is strange. Did you select tot remove the files on the computer?
@@GaugingGadgets mine actually did...it asked me for the password which i used about 7 years ago when i was a kid
I got onto the blue screen and then I clicked troubleshoot but I had no option to reset pc.only Start up settings and UEFI firmware settings
