This is a monthly cash-prize tournament that is split into three different game modes: Standard RA2, Yuri's Revenge, and Blitz. For each mode, we separate players into divisions based on their skill level: Pro, Semi-Pro, D1, D2, D3, D4, and D5 (for the noobies!).

Hey everyone! My name's Iver. Welcome to my channel: RA2 World Series. I host and stream pro Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (Yuri's Revenge) games... and give the winners cash :)
My channel features a variety of RA2 gameplay, including professional 1v1 matches, 2v2 games, show-matches, multi-player, free-for-all (FFA), tournaments, and cash prize events. We also feature helpful tutorials, strategies, and walk-throughs, with tips/tricks for new players. I focus mostly on PvP, but I also do PvE occasionally, like 1v7 Brutal AI Enemy challenges, Allied Campaign, and Soviet Campaign games.
"Red Alert 2 Remastered" has yet to officially release, but until it does, I've created a variety of custom maps, tiny maps, survival maps, and mod maps to keep us all entertained! We have a great community of players of all skill levels... download the game today, and come play with us! :)

💥 "Blitz"
This is a Red Alert 2 game mode of my own creation. Tiny-map, no ore, build oil for money (max 12 oils). All Allied get all Allied bonuses (minus France), all Soviet get all Soviet bonuses. There is a 10min game timer. No engineers allowed.

RA2 needs "A-move" command. I think it would add a lot to the game, both in strategy and action. Watching afk Kirov being casually shot by a boat is painful.

The game is free to play online via a 3rd party program called cncnet which we use, but you need to own the game to use it. Can get it for $5 - RedAlert2.com has the info
Indicator of tank health is a great idea, won't affect balance either. This vod is like 4 mo old, I'm trying to keep up, did yall implement this? Is it in the works?
Still kinda in the works. We got it to work where units less then 50% smoke but there's concerns of lag with too many units. 😔
@Iver shit maybe that's why they didn't do it in the first place, game engine has a hard time with it? Would probably have to remove or change some graphical effects from something else. Removing the added movements of dogs when they're not moving maybe? Maybe oil rig motions or Ore drill motions?
@@jacobmontalbano488 yeah it's hard to say, the issue is if a desolate hits like 50 tanks at once. honestly it it seems to not really be an issue for casual games it's just kind of risky to implement in like cash games increasing lag/crashes by even 1% is too much.
@@Iver definitely agree with that. Idk how you're doing it exactly, but my guess is the game engine takes on more than it can process when it has to account for the smoke and sparks of so many tanks. If you're still experimenting with it, maybe try removing the motions of a few things that won't be terribly missed, if that's possible. Could free up enough memory for the game engine to pull it off? Hopefully that's helpful, I'll leave ya to it!

Why don't players make Apocalypses if they tech up? Doesn't that tank provide more value than Rhino?
Nah they can't shoot while moving and are really slow, at the top level mass rhinos is bonified meta
