@@xxx_katiekat_xxx Oh also are you considering doing uprising as well? Each faction gets infantry units that are quite a bit more options, also the difficulty being quite a bit more and no NPC allies so even more challenge in some ways
@@KyleRandomnes currently yeah I'm planning on doing uprising eventually which will be interesting since i haven't played thru very much of that game before. I also plan on maybe doing dawn of war Dark Crusade since that's the other RTS I played alot as a kid

if this ever comes to uprising i recomend abusing the engineer combat bunker during the soviet campaign, especially in the last mission honestly flakk troopers in bunkers can kill future tanks on their own
25:00 u could do a crane start and then crush tengus with an MCV(or just go strait to the gun turrets to take them out while MCV is tanking shots), so u can use magnetic support power to take out enemy V-X that come next.
@@MasterKolis oh I never even really thought of using the MCV to crush enemy's. I do feel like using it in direct combat like that tho might kinda go against the spirit of the run but definelty a good idea

damn I've only learned of this series recently. Well I knew of it but not like how intresting it was. It was just some old Xbox 360 game my dad must've played once that I never decided to play however I remember hearing the game is kinda shit on Xbox because nobody worked out how to make an RTS game on console yet. The 1st game I know of that did this was Halo Wars which worked out wheels are the best replacement for most menus that'd be good with a mouse & keyboard.

hmm id say the soviets and the allies are basically on par tho I prefer the soviets as their commando is better in my opinion and I've never gotten much use out of allied spy's. the empires is a bit for of a mix bag imo, their anti armour infantry is way worse then the soviets and allies since they cant attack aircraft but they also have my favourite unit in the whole game the rocket angels. that's a very long way of saying they're all pretty much on par if you ask me haha.
@@xxx_katiekat_xxx they're all pretty balanced as you said. But I like to think that the soviet's heavy infantry kind of tips the scale in their favor. The DLC pretty much made the empire more viable. But it's hard to tell when we need to isolate the infantry from the vehicles, because what makes the empire infantry really strong is their stealth transport. Also what makes the spy really strong, you can buy everything for $1000
@@plankkton oh I hadn't even thought about the DLC units. I haven't really played much of uprising tbh so I don't really know how the new infantry they added play. I'll probs do runs of those campaigns eventually tho so guess I'll get to see them.
Why do you look like you're playing on a PS1? Also, after that guy beat several C&C games on hard without any unit or structure dying, I just assumed anything was possible, so I'm gonna go ahead and assume you can indeed beat this with just infantry. Edit: Yeah, I was right.

yeah unfortunately my laptops is ancient and bug infested so it struggles to play a lot of games on peak settings even ones from 2008
