It's my birthday pour and first experience with it right now. It smells almost like a barrel proof bourbon to me. So approachable at 100 proof, fantastic pour. Great video!
Knob Creek 12 is one of my favorites. I have 3 bottles on my shelf. I just picked up a Knob Creek 15, but have not opened yet. A lot of Knob Creek Single Barrel store picks can compare to KC 12. 🥃
You guys have good taste if that’s your favorite! Check out some other videos, I think my style has improved since I made this one! Thanks for watching!!
@@bradsbourbonreviews I'm not from NC originally, but I live in Raleigh/Durham now. I used to live in KY, but it was before I was into whiskey. What a missed opportunity!
I really enjoy the KC 12 years. It’s smoke/oaky but not overwhelming at all. The proof is slightly low for me. I wish I could try the single barrel. The price is 75 dollars in the east coast. I would definitely offer it for anyone who would like to smoke a cigar with me 😂
I live in KY and it is extremely difficult to find here, but I agree that it is phenomenal and well worth the upcharge vs the already great 9 year. Like you, it is my jam regarding profile. Thinking of doing a blind against E.H. Taylor Small Batch. Interesting that the Taylor retails for less but secondary is stoopid, while lowly KC 12 flies under the radar, kinda.
I love the Knob Creek 12 year. For the proof, age and retail price it’s almost too good. The 15 and 18 years are also really good if you can try them and/or compare them all together.
It’s my favorite KC…worth every penny.
100% agree. Love Knob Creek 12-year! It's outstanding!
It’s really really solid
got a bottle and me and my wife both love it.
smooth as butter with a perfect amount of vanilla to oak.
solid proof.
It’s a badass bottle
It’s a true hitter! I had a store owner bless me with three bottles at 52.00 each! Bottle of 18yr for 130.00 great pours! Cheers
That’s stellar!!!

I’ve got a knob creek store pick rye that’s the best rye I’ve ever had
Mine and the old ladies favorite ! Good review dude

That is a fantastic bottle my friend. One of my favorites !
It is one of mine as well
I enjoy the 9 but haven’t had a chance to try the 12 yet. I agree about 12 years being a bit of a magic number for Bourbon as well as Rum.
If you can find it I’d highly urge you to get it. It’s a classic.
@@bradsbourbonreviews I can find it but it’s not cheap. I think in USD (I’m north of the boarder) it’s about $102.00. Might just have to splurge!
It’s hard to find in Los Angeles too. One of my favorite bourbons. I usually buy two bottles when it is available.
Good call!
12 year is great. I was already a big fan of the 9-yr, but I'd say the 12 year is even better. I think it is phenomenal.
I tried the 15 last night at a bar, and I think the 12 is still the best one of the bunch!
Opened up a bottle last evening. We all loved it. I thought it was great.
You all have great taste!
I feel the same. Really great pour.
It really is
It was $73 for me when I was in SC. Beautiful bourbon the first time I tried it. Looking forward to getting back to it soon.
SC has been the best state for me to find bourbon in outside of KY.
@@bradsbourbonreviews I live in NC, so have to go elsewhere to find anything beyond basics. I need to move. 😂
Hahah! I grew up in NC, I’m from Concord, but live in Orlando now

Wow you left a great place for whiskey to one of the worst

That would be interesting! Thanks for watching!
I bought a bottle a few months ago. I paid $70, it’s a solid bourbon.
Worth every penny
I’m debating on the 15 right now
Nice solid review!! SKOL...
Hey thanks!
I jumped straight to the 12yr single barrel 120 proof. Cheers.
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I would love to try it but unfortunately, this sells for $139 plus 15% tax at the government retail store in my province in Canada. ☹ Crazy
That’s awful
One of my favorites 👍🥃
A man of good taste

I’d love to do it, if I find them I’ll make it happen
price vs proof ? could be higher
Local shop just had it on sale for $49 so i grabbed a couple bottles
DAMN that’s a steal
Here on the Space Coast of Florida 😎. It’s always available. 👍 enjoy
I have been meaning to make a trip out that way to look for some stuff. I just need to have time to do it!
12 year good 15 stinks 18 amazing! 12 is hard to get in fl. I in longwood
My new favorite 😋
It’s DAMN good!
It's a good balance
KC 12 might be the perfect whiskey
It really might be….and at 65 bucks, it’s hard to argue
Lol what? It's pure peanut butter. Not cherry.
Absolutely not. I get ZERO peanut butter it’s straight up cough drop cherry.
"Perfect bourbon",,,,,, but not your favourite. So, what's your fav?
Good question
Perfect meaning it’s a perfect representation of a “good” bourbon
