0:50 - 0:56 This type of split should never have occurred. I was an inspector in the aircraft industry. An aircraft having this type of split would have been grounded. The split is flexing, widening and lengthening. A structural failure. A water sealant will not stop its progress. Like the Titanic's pumps it just buys you time. There are videos showing this split opening up on both sides of the roof at the end corners by the hatch. The flexing is widening a split both long the sides of the roof and downward toward the spare tire well. Something very bad about how this vehicle was built is evident. As so many videos exist on the same subject - the problem is systemic. My guess is rough driving could start the flex process. Or water entering the split and freezing overnight could help expand the crack. The way as it happens with boulders.
