Even as a chelsea fan i can still say Jose is nothing compared to the might and pure excellence that is sir Alex, i miss having him in the game so much, nobody has ever earned my respect in the way he has and nobody ever will. Thank you for everything Sir Alex, you made the beautiful game what it is today and we all miss you so so much, you really are the true godfather of modern football and i cry watching this beautiful piece now were here without you - A Chelsea fan
For 5 years we have played without him. And not once did we win a Premier League. I think we all know what's missing. Thank you for all your work, Sir Alex. You will always be The Boss.
I can clearly recall the day Fergie became United manager in Nov '86. I was as usual cautious and indifferent because Liverpool reigned supreme and many United managers before him had failed to get United back to the top since Matt Busby retired in '69. I really didn't know what to expect of him ,managing and being successful in Scotland is one thing ,but English football is a step up. After the initial few years of getting the club into the shape he desired and with the first FA Cup victory in '90, it was a roller coaster of fantastic football and success from then on. NOBODY will ever repeat his unbelievable record , from ALL UNITED supporters to Sir Alex - a massive thank you!!
So jealous of you man, got to watch my first match with him in 2005, what an amazing 9 years followed. Wish I could have been born a little earlier. Now its a little darker, but still forever United.
Brian O'Reilly some of the greatest to grace the football pitch on and OFF the pitch are Scottish... just do your homework. We may be a small nation of 5 million only but don’t underestimate Scotland

A club that was built on trophies and youth will always be better than one built on money, yes we spend a lot these days but that money and pedigree was earned. I think City fans all secretly wish they had that and that's why even when they do well all they can do is mock United.
@@keeganpalcich171 that's always the case, jealousy of something you could never acquire, that's why the hate united so much, we've achieved things that they could only dream of
I miss those days! Those were the days when everyone hated us but at the same time were scared of us. When at the beginning of Champions League I was confident that we will give a fight when I enjoyed every second of the game.
Didn't ever imagine it was going to be this bad when he left...he is sorely missed. United have to rebuild again almost like after they did when Busby left.
He was a one in a million type, i truly miss him, think we all took the success for granted which is easy to do, imagine he's won 13 leagues in 27 years that almost one every other year, truly remarkable, considering other teams would have shared the rest between them.
The first time I saw this in 2013 the end bit hit me like a ton of bricks. I knew we would go through a dark period. I see the light at the end of the tunnel now. It feels like 93' "We'll never die!"
Mourinho gone today, coming back to this video nearly made me cry. So excited for the future and really want to get back to the glory days of this incredible prestigious club
It's not only the trophies that count. That would be greatness enough, but I've watched since the template laid by the great Sir Matt Busby, "this is who we are, this is how we play" and Sir Alex did it the Manchester United way, playing Manchester United football, the right way. THAT'S the greatness, not just the silverware, not just the pots in top of the cabinet, but the heart and spirit of what the club stands for, doing it the right way, the Manchester United way.
We haven’t won a PL or a UCL Trophy since his departure. Today, the man he made an icon, CR7 has returned to OT. Here’s hoping he brings smiles and joy back to us all. The Last Dance.
Arsenal fan here, and I am obsessed with this manager! Sometimes, you have to just accept that greatness needs to be praised, no matter what the history!
Liverpool supporter here, but you can’t do anything but admire it. Fergie was absolutely unbelievable. I honestly don’t think there will be anybody in football like him again. He was special.
After the Europa league loss to Villarreal..I am seeing this video and my eyes are watery. I was glad enough to be born in 90s and was able to witness the later half of his career..I am still Glad I chose United the club to follow ..and yes I will be always United
You have to be thankful for being around to see that career!!! Remember the teletext days waiting to see the results and then waiting up for match of the day great days miss them.
Sir Alex was a genius and so adaptable. "Never dated or out of touch". I always think of the relationship he had with foreign players from all over the world and from different generations. Hernandez (Mexico) Valencia (Ecuador) Park (S.Korea) Nani (Portugal) all loved him and would run through a brick wall for him.
I grew up watching Man Utd match after match, seeing this Man build this empire. He indeed dared to dream and not only players followed, but also fans followed him in this quest. He made me love football, play football and live football… I remember this saying: « it’s not a matter of what you do or what you say, but how you make them feel » He had it all and made us feel special as a United fan! He’s our boss and even more, like a member of our family… this father figure, this point of reference, someone to look up to as a role model! Thank you so much Sir Alex… ❤️❤️❤️

The greatest manger ever. I get goose bumps and cry every time I see this. The man created a dynasty and fortress for Manchester United over those 26 years. Was the most consistent, successful and beloved mangers. Manchester United owe so much to this man. Unbelievable achievements. I am proud beyond belief to call myself a support of United. Such a great history and figures to look back on. Fergie really was, THE gaffer.
Christ, i watched that with a lump in my throat. I am 39 years old, I started my love affair with United at the age of 10. Id only known the Fergie era. My god I didnt realise how lucky I was back then. A man without equal. Not wrong.
Love you to bits boss ! What an era that was... but stick to your manager and the greatest club of English football will get back to its best soon. Love United, Hate Glazers. Love from Pakistan.
