  • It's not often that you get the chance to interview the owner of a guitar brand, let alone the founder himself; so we're pretty excited to share that this Friday, we'll be sitting down with the one and only Ola Strandberg; the creative genius behind Strandberg Guitars.
    Full Strandberg range here: gtrgtr.uk/Strandberg-Guitars
Taking a totally different approach to almost any other guitar manufacturer on the planet, the guys at Strandberg certainly aren't afraid to do things differently. Adopted by artists such as Sarah Longfield, Plini, Misha Mansoor, Guthrie Govan & many more.
These headless machines look pretty extraterrestrial - in the best way possible. Designed to be perfectly balanced, versatile and really comfortable, Strandberg's distinctive instruments really are fascinating not just to look at, but also to play. Built with the utmost care and attention to detail, they feel absolutely fantastic; but also totally unique and unlike anything else on the market.
This Friday, we'll be discussing the brand's innovative designs, daring to do things differently and pretty much everything Strandberg with the man himself.
Not only that, you can get involved too!
The full interview will be broadcast live on RUclips and we'll be squeezing in some of your questions as well, so make sure that you're watching and that you get involved in the comments.

This was absolutely brilliant. I love the honesty with Ola and his detailed explanation of basically everything other companies tend not to divulge in. It's also great to see how involved his with all things Strandberg. Very cool and even more exciting that a Strandberg is next on my list!

This interview is great! Thank you both so much for giving your time, work, and offering this insight! Just got my new 2017 Boden Original. Hands down the greatest guitar I have ever played! You can see the origin of these amazing guitars stems from his passion and super intuitive mindset and creativity! Super dope!

Great interview with one of the most forward thinking people in the guitar industry. I really love both Strandberg’s aesthetics and his ideas for what makes a great guitar - tonally as well as ergonomically. I really want to try a Boden, as I really can’t bring myself to put down 2500€ without KNOWING that it will work for me.

Great interview. Love these guitars. I'd like to own one one day. One of these and a Steinberger and I'd be good for my headless stuff.
Having said that, I think the whole Headless concept is definitely one that works better for the Bass end of things when it comes to cheaper instruments. But that is probably because I've only ever played low end Headless designs.
I'm sure a Strandberg would be a great instrument. One day.
I find it funny people pay so much for Custom Shop Fenders, but get a little 'sniffy' shall we say when it comes to paying for a low-output and low-turnover maverick in the field. OK, he didn't revolutionise the guitar as such, but he made it ergonomically beautiful, aesthetically beautiful, and let's hope 'aurally' beautiful.
If I had the cash, I'd get one of these any day before spending silly money on Fender or Gibson. Each to his own.
    Thanks for the interview.

As an Englishman I can barely understand this Scottish dude at all, the microphone quality is shocking and the accent is mad. Can’t imagine Ola being Swedish understood much of this 😅
