I have loved aircraft carriers since I was 5 years old... at 9 years old I built my aircraft carrier with wooden planks and legos...my favorite aircraft carrier has always been and will remain the cvn65 enterprise....i built it at 1/144 scale....i struggle how to make the catapults....i have more than 50 F18,22 F14 tomcat, 6 A6B prowler, 5 S3 viking.....

USS Carl Vinson was my first aircraft carrier. I served aboard 3 submarines, 2 aircraft carriers, 2 NPTU's, and was an instructor at NSS New London Groton Advanced Engineering School, MMC(SS) USN, Ret. Yeah, I was a f@cking Nuke.
Any body know what happen to the bombing squadron from whidbey island did they go F18 also if so what is there squadron now, they used to be VA-155 SILVER FOXES, thanks any info would be great.fly navy ⚓️🇺🇲

OK, something's NOT RIGHT. VAQ is an Eletronic Warfare Squadron, why are they flying F\A-18s. VAQ used to fly EA-6Bs which I'm sure have been decommissioned but are the electronics now placed in the pilons?
