I assume this is still a wip? Even with that in mind, I see nothing that makes it stand out from other Metroid games, which is a missed opportunity imo.
The level design is pretty neat and I dig the Metroid Dread suit, but... *what even **_is_** the story of this hack?* And where were the Metroids on this "Planet Metroid"?! Also, quite an underwhelming number of bosses. I dunno, just feels like someone wanted to construct _"a hard level for Metroid veterans"_ and threw aside everything else. Story, ambience, goals, consistency, storytelling by level design... It's like those were not even an afterthought! I'm sorry, but for as fun as this seem on *gameplay alone,* I think this is one of the worst hacks of Super Metroid. It just feels so underwhelming. Even the joke hacks felt more capricious!
Creator of the hack here. This was my first ever attempt at level design, and it shows. That said, it warms my heart to see people playing it after all these years.

This game's winner is...Classic Samus! Seriously, I hear the "Samus's Smash victory theme" music so much in the first eight minutes, that it feels like I'm watching a Smash Bros. game rather than a Metroid game.
