Amazing demo and tutorial! Your detailed explanation of the ARP 2600 V was really helpful, and I appreciated the way you walked us through each section of the synth and demonstrated its capabilities. It's great to see how you've explored the various features and functions of the ARP 2600 V, and your examples really showcased the range of sounds that can be created with this iconic synth.
@@CatSynthTV sadly not, it just cuts the audio off, I've tried it on every version so I don't think it's a bug but it can't be modulated by signal either. To make that panning effect I have to use the voltage processors.

Thank you so much for the kind words 😻. I do make it my goal to explain the various features and subsections of these iconic instruments in depth.

Thank you for the tutorial! Behringer also made a 2600.
Indeed they have! If I can ever get my hands on a "Blue Meanie" version of the Behringer 2600, I will review it here 😺
@@CatSynthTV I just got one after waiting all year in line for it, so this video is still very enjoyably relevant. Perfect timing!
Hi CatSynth, I am curious about the input that is between the mixer inputs and the pan slider, It seems to do nothing?
Hi there. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I believe that overrides the mixer input to the panner with another signal.
@@CatSynthTV still can't find any use for it lol
@@ohernik yeah, I haven't used it myself. I suppose if you want to stereo-panning effects or the like you can run an LFO or other CV source into it.
