    I'm guessing a fair few of these are sequenced demos on the plugins?
    0:00 Thriller.
    0:53 Adamski ft Seal - Killer (bassline)
    1:45 Sounds like the chords from Baker Street (Gerry Rafferty)?
    2:32 Level 42 - Leaving Me Now (one of my fav bands and songs of all time)
    3:53 Jump, obviously. lol
    4:37 ?
    5:34 Funky Town
    6:09 ?
    7:00 ?
    8:42 ?
    9:49 ?
    10:59 ?

    Woody! Although I miss your zany exuberant on camera presence, the tasty demos of Arturia recreated synths is some of your best work. For five years now you have been an inspiring force in my musical pursuits. I bought my first synth in 1973 from Tom Beckman. Mr. Roland USA to place atop my 1939 Hammond BV. I was music minister at a Friends/Quaker church in LA with a ppe organ and famous organist. Hammond and Fender.Rhodes Suitcase 88 gathering dust in garage out back- too heavy for a geezer. Presently two Rolands (RD 88, Juno DS6). two Yamahas (PSR 900 SX, CK61- both purchases largely inspired by you) and my aging but beloved Pa4X. The 4X is my main girl and the CK is on the tier above which also runs my iPad/Korg Module. On arrangers, I mostly only play with drums and sometimes bass. I like the ability to quickly split and layer voices. Now you see why I am such a Woody fanboy. PS) This is my second post in 2023-200% of 2022. Muchas Gracias from the sunny Sierra Mojave.

    I think its the best bundle in the business... and I have a few of these things in real life. If you can snag the V collection for a discount (they have a few sales from time to time) its a no brainer. I think I got mine for like $200.

    • @WoodyPianoShack
      @WoodyPianoShack 7 месяцев назад +1

      that's a lot of bang for the buck yes, and they are fine quality and sound good. what i have found though, is that it is an awful lot of stuff to learn, because each synth is unique. so keep that in mind, any potential purchasers!

    • @Screaming-Trees
      @Screaming-Trees 7 месяцев назад +1

      It's a good bundle for sure. I wish Arturia would add a light UI version for each of these synths. As it stands, if you're on a 5k monitor you might be staring down the barrel of 1.2gb of RAM usage per synth (120% scale). Makes it a bit of a bitter sweet thing if you're on Apple silicon macs like we are here because of Apple's price gouging on the RAM. ☹ Or even just objectively speaking. Over a gig of RAM per synth is not very user friendly.

    • @Screaming-Trees

      @@irife2771 It's not a windows vs mac thing. It's just graphics bloat. What kind of resolutions do you have on your screen? It's the high resolution displays that will trigger this problem. Greater resolution = more pixles = more ram basically. It's a fairly linear equation. That their JUp8 plugin scale it on a 5k monitor, say 120-140% and see what you get. Probably over a gig.

    Whilst not being my favourite analogue emulations, I do think that the Arturia V collections do offer incredible bang for your buck.
    I just wish they’d do a synth-only version alongside the main collection, because I’m not sure that someone wanting a Buchla Easel emulation is also always going in the market for Augmented Woodwinds and the like!

    Shoot, I feel like I just paid for the update to v9 of this set.
    Between putting that money toward v10 of this collection or the same money to grab Avenger 2.0 while it's on sale... if I buy anything right now, it'll probably be Avenger 2.0.
    However, I must admit that I've never paid attention to the mini/micro freaks and what they can do. That's certainly some added value, but Avenger 2.0 has rather blown my mind today.

    • @WoodyPianoShack

    • @mudi2000a
      @mudi2000a 7 месяцев назад +2

      It depends. From a price point of view Arturia is very good. Only I would wait for 50% discount. With Korg there isn’t any overlap except the MS20 and in this case the Arturia version is clearly better. I have also the Korg collection but I bought it more for the digital synths (M1, wavestation, Triton)
      With Roland I think the versions from the Roland Cloud sound better but the Arturia UI is vastly superior. Plus, Roland is expensive.
