Thank you for this demo. I was racking my brain trying to get a virtual organ into the ARP 2600 preamp in Ableton Live for recreating The Who's sound from Won't Be Fooled Again. You really have been a huge help!
always had trouble remembering the sequencer's function especially the busses, maybe I didn't remember them correctly, but after your explanation I can see it more clearly and there nothing to remember because all the routing and connection becomes clear now. Thank you so much.
Hi CathSynth, Thanks a lot for the great video. Is use FL Studio and I wonder if you or anyone out there knows how to sidechain the drums and connect it to the ARP 2600 within FL Studio. I can't find it myself. Thanks a lot!
Hi. To do the preamp in Pro Tools one has to put plug-in on an Audio track rather than an Instrument track. Unfortunately this prevents on from using MIDI with it :(. Hopefully they update to use the key track input similar to the newer Vocoder V.
Hi. From the AR envelope, route the "Gate" to "Start" in the sequencer. And "Trig" from the AR envelope to "Reset" in the sequencer. That should start the sequencer from the top whenever you hit a key. Does that work for you?

how can i retrigger a seq? (the switch doesnt work) I want to start from step 1 every time I hit a note, thank you
