When Trifinov plays pp / ppp and legato or semi staccato, magical sounds occur. Everything is considered in his playing. He is a truly amazing pianist.
I saw Mr. Trifonov live with the Los Angeles Philharmonic a couple of years ago, and I think he was the best pianist I've ever seen live. Even better than Van Cliburn (but when I saw Van Cliburn he was elderly).
He has rapidly become my favorite!

절제된 릴렉스에서도 깊고 묵직한 음은
광활한 대지를 품고 있는 다이내믹함을 들려주고, 그러면서도 차이코프스키 다운 명료하고 간결한 논레가토. 과장되지 않으면서도
흐름을 잃지 않고 잡아가는 깊고 풍부한 싱깅톤에..
유려함과 우수에 젖은 서정성까지.... 정말 다양한 음색을 표현하는 좋은 손을 가지고 있네요.

돋보이구요. 아르헤리치의 극찬이 아깝지 않는 장래가 유망한 피아니스트네요!
정교한 직조물이 켜켜이 쌓아올려진듯한 풍성함과 동물적인 감각에 가까운 직관적 연주가ㆍㆍ! 도대체 2011 차이콥콩쿨에 무슨 일이 일어났길래 우리 손열음씨가 2위를 하고 성진초가 삼위를 하고 ㆍㆍ난리가 났었는지 궁금했는데, 납득이 가네요.

한국사람들은 러시아 사람이어서 우승했다고 하는데 러시아 사람이어서 우승한게 아니라 그냥 실력이 좋아서 우승한 것 같다. 예술은 주관적 이라지만 아무리 들어도 난 트리포노브가 최고다...
모국 프리미엄도 있긴 있었겠지만, 굳이
러시안인걸 고려하지 않아도, 우승할만한 실력이었다고 느낍니다.
카덴차부분이나 뒤부분 미스터치 개많은데 대가들이친거 3악장 들어보고오세요 .. 아무리 좋게들으려해도 우승할실력 절대아닙니다
다닐이 실수를 해서 미스터치가 거의 없는 조성진을 오케가 견제하려 했다는 느낌도 더 들었던 거 같은데....연주만 보면 조성진이 더 나은듯...
개인적으로 트리프노프가 압도적이었다고 생각합니다

Видимо был очень жаркий июньский летний день, что оркестрантам разрешили играть в свободной форме одежды, без "Дресс-кода" !
I agree about the dress code. This is a man's life we are talking about. He has poured his heart and soul into the music and spent more hours (already) than the length of half the audience's life... practicing. It is also an insult to the audience and the director, but of course it is the fault of the director. No shame I guess. A musician of this caliber should be respected, at least for the performance. One slip and his career might be over. Everything around him he notices. A cough in the wrong spot. An orchestral member makes a mistake. So please dress the part, at least our of your own pride and honor the musician whom you probably will never enjoy meeting again.

차이콩쿨이 다른콩쿨에 비해 편파가 심한편이긴 하지만 트리포노프 우승은 할말없음 그냥 얘는 압도적이다

I see (and hear) why he won 1st place over Yeol Eum Son. They are both exceptionally good but danill's version of this piece has more contrast and seems to be more melodious, despite Yeol's evident passion.

Wonderful to listen and watch him play PC no. 1 at XIV TC 2011,
and then listen to Van Cliburn on same at I TC 1958: cf. watch?v=rHbPDDoVXtQ.
Both are virtuosi of distinctly singular status and style.
He is one of my favorite pianists today. But he did not deserve to win this competition. There is too many mistakes.
@@LC-ig2jm Even though there are mistakes, he still played the best. So yes, he definitely deserved to win.
@@LC-ig2jm thankfully it isn't a competition of who makes the least mistakes, it's who creates the greatest music, which i believe he did

In 2011 Mr. Daniil Trifonov was awarded gold in the competition, and Ms. Yeol Eum Son was awarded silver. I have watched both performances on RUclips ( ruclips.net/video/Mf1DTQ7WGWo/видео.html ) and the only difference I have noticed is the quality of the sound from the instruments: the pianos being played. Both, Mr. Trifonov and Ms. Son, are incredibly talented. They performed with equal virtuosity. However, the sound of the Steinway & Sons piano had richer, fuller, more expansive tone and range, than the Yamaha. The Yamaha sounded less robust. It carried the sound of the notes with lesser range. It's tone lasted a fraction of what was intended in the score, despite the release of the pedals by Ms. Son. The right instrument makes a world of difference... Gold vs. Silver !
I am shocked that anyone would choose a Yamaha over a Steinway, providing they were both equally new!

제가 전문가는 아니지만 강약조절이 잘 되는거 같네요 ㅎㅎㅎ 개인적으로는 조성진씨 보다 손열음 양을 대한민국 최고라고 꼽고 싶은데 실력에 비해 인지도가 낮아서 속상하네요

손열음 피아니스트님과는 또 다른 느낌을 주네요! 신기해요 같은곡이 이렇게 서로 다른 매력을 보여줄 수 있다니요... 오케스트라 반주자분들은 피아니스트마다 다르게 연주하시는걸까요? 무조건 정박에 같은 음량으로 정해져있나요?
반주하는 오케스트라는 거의 똑같아요
그리고 손열음보다는 다른느낌이 , 개인적으론 좀 더 터치감이 부드러우면서 음색이 맑은것 같아요 손열음은 파워는 강하게느껴지네요
같은 콩쿨에서 같은 곡으로 협연을 경연시, 지휘자와 오케스트라가 같다면 거의 같은 박자에 음량으로 진행되어야 정상입니다.
하지만, 근데 다른 경연자들 영상들 여기저기 찾아보시면 유독 차이가 많이 나는 것을 느끼셨다면, 그것도 정상입니다. 많은 음악인들도 같은 생각을 할 것입니다.
2nd,3rd 입상자의 오케스트라의 연주와, 1st 입상자의 오케스트라의 연주가 생각보다 많은 차이를 보입니다. (의혹들이 생겼던 이유)
2위,3위와 차별을 두고 1위를 만들기 위한 반주라는 느낌을 많이 줬습니다.
더 잘 치긴 했구나 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 누가 소치랑 비교하던데 그건 아닌듯...

The pressure on the trifonov must be tremendous. One wrong note could cost the entire concerto. You know the feeling if you play all too well. One wrong note throws you off and you forget the rest after it.
That's me alright!😉But I notice that the big guns are not put off by a wrong note here and there.As for me.......😕
He missed many notes more than 2,3rd prize winner. Too rushed.
@jesus gonzalez : Don’t agree with you. The greatest pianists have learnt to keep on keeping on, no matter how many notes they fumble or miss. It is impossible - unless you are Evgeny Kissin - to play an entire concerto in public without a few bungles. It’s human. (Not that Mr Kissin is not human! He is just exceptional.)
Why are the orchestra members not properly dressed?

They are though??? Ever heard of a dress code? All of them simply wear concert white shirts without a jacket, what’s wrong with that?
@@Viktorvelat95 I am pleased to say that my instincts for orchestral dress were formed when white tie and tails were required for men and long-sleeved black gowns to the floor for the occasional woman player. The Communist régime in Russia may have imposed something different that has lingered, but it looks very slovenly to me.
That was their message that they are against eastward expansion of NATO.
오래된 건물이라 에어컨 못단다던데...제발좀 개조하길....연주자들 안쓰러워서 정말....ㅠㅜ
이곡은 갠적으론 조성진이 제일 듣기 편함....손열음은 터치가 넘 강하고 다닐과 성진초는 음색이 섬세하고 강약이 좋은데...다닐이 자국콩쿨이라 약간 긴장한듯, 오케도 너무 힘을 빡준.....ㅋㅋㅋ차라리 성진초랑 할때가 실수는 했어도 오케 음색은 더 좋은듯...훌륭한 젊은 연주자들 덕에 행복함....💜💚💙

조성진이 훨씬 어려운곡했는데.....
라흐마니노프 3번 말씀이신가 보네요. 어려운 건 맞는데 웬만한 연주자들 녹음하는 곡이죠. 라흐 3번은 구소련 이후 차콩 우승자가 없습니다.
텃밭 우승 ?
제가 전에 손열음이 우승하지 못한 이유에 대해서 분석한 글에다가 다닐이 우승한 이유도 썼습니다. 홈 어드밴티지이기도 하지만 아무래도 다닐이 가장 잘 나가죠. 손열음도 물론 잘 나가지만요. 제가 볼 때 큰 대회 우승은 가장 잘 해서 우승인 것 말고도 앞으로의 가능성 살짝 포함인 것 같아요.
