Not necessarily now because they were all called up to the main roster recently but Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Ilja dragunov are super fun to watch. But currently trick Williams is really fun to watch and he is currently the Nxt champ. There is also a lot of super talented women on Nxt as well
@@eyesacthehoodrat being that everyone in today's society, including you 3, are apparently whiny bitches, the attitude era wouldn't work now. The attitude era wouldn't have been anything without Vince raping half the roster.
It was too bloated though. 4 teams maximum and it’s just the right amount of chaos, 6 teams is just chaos for the sake of it and with too much going on you’re likely to miss something. Look back to WM17 and the TLC2 match between Hardyz, Dudleyz and E&C, there was more chaos and carnage in that match and only half as many competitors… ok, each team had a run-in to bring it up to 9, but that’s till less than the 12 at WM40. Less is more. That 6pack ladder match as it’s stands is most forgettable ladder match I’ve watched, no disrespect to the competitors, but when the most memorable thing that happened didn’t even involve ladders (R-Truth’s hot-tag and doing his “childhood hero” John Cena’s finish), you know they did something wrong.
I look at the superkick vs sweet chin music the same as I look at a generic spear vs a build up spear - you have to tune up the band for sweet chin music for it to be a finisher
For me the ATTITUDE ERA was the best one!! I will say that this new era is for sure my second favorite!! Impressed with the new talents that came in WWE since Triple H took over!!
The Superkick thing happens to most moves its just more talked about with the superkick cuz it's such a beloved move.. In the 80s the DDT was damn near as protected as Kenny Omega's One Winged Angel is today but now it's usually such a transitional move in most wrestlers' movesets that it's barely more effective than a slap or a hip toss
Yeah would love to see more WWE videos. They are at their biggest business and fan support wise in years. They haven't been this hot since he end of the Attitude era back in the early 2000's.
I became a wrestling fan this past summer, so this was the first Wrestlemania I got to watch live, and boyyyyyy is it one I'm telling my grandkids about.
In defense of Nakamura, he grinded for years in Japan before coming to WWE. His legacy of great matches was already established, and his entire WWE run has been him having fun and making a fat paycheck. Yea he's a little goofy these days and that's not the best character, but don't sell him short. Totally understand not liking him currently, but his older stuff is definitely worth a watch. At the very least his debut in NXT is worth a watch.
For Shinsuke, I strongly recommend his match against AJ Styles at Wrestle Kingdom 10 that one is wayyyy much better than their matches in WWE. Pure strong style.
Nobody was confused. They needed to be split it like they were before. Plus they renamed the the respective titles. Raw Tag Team Championships are now the World Tag Team Championships and the Samckdown Tag Team Championships are the WWE Tag Team Championship.
On super kicks, I think this generally happens to moves, leg and elbow drops used to be finishers and are now common place, same thing is now happening to super kicks
Im 43. I grew up with the early 90s WWF as a kid. I was a teenager for the Attitude Era....i loved it then but it doesn't hold up well. Ruthless Aggression i think was better and these last 2 years is even better. Since Wrestlemania 38 i can't think of a bad PPV. Those eras had them. Matches are more memorable now. Attitude Era was memorable for the segments, not matches. Women's wrestling is infinitely better too so those saying it was better 25 years ago are just nostalgic.
I'm sorry but it isn't anymore. And people shouldn't want it to be. It had some great matches but some rubbish too. Last years night 1 and this years night 2 I think are better. Nothing on X-7 was as good as Rhea vs Charlotte.
4:25 totally agree with you… it’s not very “super” anymore, it’s just a kick in the face now. Another one that gets spammed so hard it annoys me is the Canadian Destroyer 6:28 7:16 Orton had 18 months off due to spinal fusion surgery, he had plenty of time to get jacked without the juice… but if he was on it, I don’t blame him for wanting to strengthen up having had part of his spine fused. 9:16 it was a weird concept, and I would say it was overbloated too. Multi-person ladder matches are great when you have the right balance, I’d say 8 is the maximum before it’s “where do I look?”, “who’s doing what?” etc. I think I’m right understanding that the titles were unified (I think? Correct me if I’m wrong) and they wanted/needed to split them up again, but as you said, this felt off.
It was very clear that the match would continue until both sets of titles were pulled down. There was just no heat for anyone but Miz and Truth. If you were confused... Pay attention better? Idk. They only said it like 35 times before the end of the match.
We all know the Attitude Era was, and always will be the best! Shawn Michaels, hHh, Chyna, Undertaker, Kane, Road Dogg Jessie James, Badd Ass Billy Gunn, X-PAC,D-Generation X, Mr McMahon, and, of course, the 2 BIGGEST names in wrestling, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. There are so many others I didn’t mention…. Attitude Era is where it’s at!
Current era is great and its early days and it could be up there with the Attitude Era and I feel like I'm being spoilt to be alive and witnessing both eras when it happens, showing my age but this born after 1998 missed out on the Attitude era live.
People will tell you to watch Ilja Dragunov, Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes who have all now been called up to the main roster but the guy you should really watch is Dijak.
So I was born in 92 which obviously made me a kid during the attitude Era, and tho that is my favorite Era you couldn't go wrong I feel with pure in ring talent or story telling in 2002-2003... Raw had interesting stories nonetheless and smackdown had the work horses
I think you were the only one confused. People at home were confused woth the lack of crowd noise but the forget its a stadiim and sound will eacaoe out the top.
Know most of it are staged, the tables, chairs so on, made of lesser materials, but I’m still impressed by the shit they are doing, there are no room for mistakes, if there are one it can be very dangerous , injuries do happen would not do any of the stuff they are doing
The 90's Attitude Era! You just had to see it. Best over the top stories. Matches. Back stage segments. The blood and high flying stunts! You just dont see that anymore.
Blame the Young Bucks for the superkick overuse Don't even get me started on the Uso vs Uso match at Mania, probably one of the worst matches I've ever seen, they were meant to have up to 25 mins for match but were cut down to 8 minutes, so they tried squeezing in what was probably meant to be the key part of their match to just be the entire match
I’ll be working Summerslam back home in Clevaland next month and I can’t wait. I haven’t seen Johnny, Candice, The Miz, and Vic Joseph who does commentary for NXT since before covid. I’ve known Vic since his 92.3 The Fan Cleveland Radio days, and Johnny Since his AIW days. We moved to Atlanta during covid so I’m excited to go back back and see my wrestling buddies. Last time I saw them we were having beers during a Cleveland Browns Tailgate before covid. US Cleveland Boys getting back together! Fun fact wife and I got married at the Cleveland Browns Stadium. Photos on my Instagram, same handle as this one.

The attitude Era is the greatest Era bro
Have you ever seen the attitude era? 🤔

I respect your opinion, I however would say Attitude Era & Ruthless Aggression Era was better. 😊
To mention the tag team "6 Pack Match". It was clear the WWE was trying to split the belts. More organically than doing two matches
It was too bloated though. 4 teams maximum and it’s just the right amount of chaos, 6 teams is just chaos for the sake of it and with too much going on you’re likely to miss something. Might be a controversial one but the Covid Era and the cinematic matches we had
Trick Williams is the man on NXT!

How could they have done two separate ladder matches?! You wanted to see Priest and Balor lose two separate ladder matches on one show?!
Once my grandmother broke her arm watching wrestling I stopped watching. 😂😂
Attitude Era is the best, at least for now, but Triple H era is super promising
the attitude era 1990's were the best years
nxt’s main guy now is Trick Williams
Bron Breaker from NXT is one of the best upcoming talent.
Should do the top 15 celebrity houses America
😂 Nakamura using Drunken fist he be trying to act drunk
ilya dragonov is nxt guy to watch, he just got moved up to main roster and had an insane match with ricochet on Raw

Wrestlemania 40 was the best because it was in my hometown Philadelphia
My favorite nxt wrestler is trick williams the NXT champion
it’s not controversial at all to say it’s in the best place it’s been since like 2008
The beginning of the PG Era and the pandering to the TV networks and want they wanted instead of what the fans wanted.
For nxt trick Williams is the best of the best to watch
