  • Why Would I Choose This Stove Over Any Others? Because The Bushbox XL by Bushcraft Essentials is how all solid fuel burning stove should be. Easy to assemble, the fuel efficiency is ridiculously good, it's large and sturdy enough to hold your heaviest of cookware, it's a solid unit and is a duel purpose stove.
    Downside... I can only say quite heavy but for the quality of stove that it is, it's going to be on the heavy side.
    If you own one please answer in the comments below and tell me your thoughts will ya.
    Many thanks to Bushcraft Essentials for sending me this classic stove, I love it and will be featuring it on many videos to come!

    Thanks, Ant, for the great video. 👍We're glad you like the Bushbox XL and hope you'll enjoy it on your adventures to come. BTW there is also a titanium version of the stove that weighs only about half as much as the stainless steel one.

      Hi guys, thank you so very much for watching the video. Yeah I’m looking forward to taking this fab beast on quite a few camps this summer so stay tuned.
      Yeah the Titanium one is the same size isn’t it I believe. Big thanks once again for sending the stove out to me, love it!

      @@AntSurviveTheNight Hi Ant, yes, it's the same size but 430 g vs. 765 g. There's also a smaller, more compact version, which is our Bushbox LF and which is also available in titanium. Hope you enjoy your summer outdoors!

    Great video, I have had my bush stove for three years and love it, from twig fired stews to the first coffee of the morning using the meth’s stove. Hear what you say about the weight but I would rather save weight else where as it is so good. My biggest tip is after use , wipe it down and clean with a bit of oil on a cloth to make it last forever.

    The best stove! I have two sizes in titanium and one in stainless steel. Always bring a titanium stove as a backup even if I use a gas stove. Will never run out of wood 😃
    Only downside is using a Billy can as a stove. Doesn’t fit as well as I would hope.
    Thanks for sharing mate!

    • @AntSurviveTheNight
      @AntSurviveTheNight  Год назад +1

      Hey Anders mate. Do you use the billy can as a stove or did you mean it doesn’t fit in the stove mate?
      Yeah I have a smaller stove which I think is titanium made by Bushcraft Essentials which is very handy due to the weight but it would struggle holding a pan like what is in the video. Thanks matey for having a watch and I’m loving the leather pad mate, thank you once again!

    get yourself a couple more trivets mate , you won`t regret it you can use them to pick it up and move the stove even if you`ve got a brew on! you can also use two trivets to adjust your trangia flame height . I bloody love mine and it`s at home on the beach as much as in the woods .
    I once cooked up 20+ bacon baps for my sons birthday party and all his mates , i even had teenagers were saying "man that thing is sick".............. i think that means it`s cool 🤣🤣
