This case scratches so easily I’ve had it for about 5 hrs and you can just see all the tiny scratches it picks up compared to my cheap Spigen case that I’ve had for a couple weeks now

😂😂 brian, bro i guess dbrand sent you a good one because i bought it since day 1 before they released, and mine got scratched just taking it out from the box, also the magsafe doesn’t hold anything. Honestly too much hype for what is in reality, btw, they sent me an email they will ship another one next year because they are improving the materials of the case.
Nope mine is scratched up too now. It just is what it is at this point. I’m hoping when they send out the new ones everything will be fixed. As soon as I get it there will be a video.

I just ordered the ghost case. Was super hesitant being the mixed reviews on it. The site says if I buy the ghost case once they drop the new improved version they will ship u one for free. Only ever used dbrand skins. Never used a case. But I have the sea breeze skin and it’s just been sitting around. Seen someone post a pic of their skin with the ghost case and it looked so good so went ahead and ordered the case. Hoping it’s not as bad as ppl have said

Can you take the case off and see if there are now scuffs on the inside of the case? A lot of people on the dbrand subreddit are reporting heavy scuffs and scratches after taking the case off.
the scuff is it on phone or the case only itself??

I had a small scratch at the top of the case when I took it off, but nothing really besides that.
Mine is completely scuffed after putting the phone in for 2 or 3 times. I would have paid maybe 10 bucks for it. I am fcking disappointed!

I honestly haven’t really used it too much. It has been getting more and more scratched up. I’ve got so many cases and more to keep getting to, but I definitely want to see how they improve it when they release the updated model.
Great review. If you could address two things that would be great. 1. Another review showed the bottom lip of the case is extremely flimsy, and IMho could be an issue when swiping or down near the bottom of the phone. Thoughts?
2. What was the deal with MagSafe graphics not displaying when you put the Apple charger or the stand you showed on the video? Magnet strength is being claimed as pretty weak.
I am keeping an eye on the dbrand sub Reddit where the lip and magnet strength are being doled out from the Technically Tee review, which I reference above.

I should’ve addressed that in the video. I must have forgotten to do so. The bottom is a bit flimsy but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I don’t think it’ll stretch out over time or anything. Doesn’t affect the swiping from the bottom of the phone.
As far as the MagSafe, that happens sometimes with my phone for some reason. It’s not only with this case it happens in other videos too.
In terms of the bottom being flimsy, it’s mostly flimsy because of the fact that the charger port hole is huge which is a big plus due to the fact that it makes it extremely compatible with third party accessories. I’ve had a good couple chargers that didn’t exactly fit right with some other cases. Can understand not needing the extra size and wanting a more stable bottom edge tho. Also my usage so far has had no issue with swiping at the bottom, I will say tho that if you’re someone who pulls your phone out of your pocket by the case that you could potentially warp it over time

It’s definitely got a few scratches on the inside of the case. Outside is pretty good still.

Imagine advertising a product as “anti-yellowing” as if they're doing something technically special, but they're just using hard plastic. That's literally all they are doing. Using cheap Ali Express face-ass hard plastic. The same hard plastic Rhinoshoeld uses for their inserts.

It’ll scratch, yes. But it’s a clear case. That’s something that a lot of them do.
I was super excited for this case but have not been impressed so far. Once I finally got mine after preordering there were scratches on the case after removing the protective film. And just from putting my phone in and out of the case 1 time, more scratches. The bottom piece does feel very flimsy and I worry about long term issues. The magnet is weak and does not allow for MagSafe accessories to sit flush with the case. Definitely feeling buyers remorse. I have reached out to Dbrand but no response yet. Probably won’t being buying anything from them again

The ghost case scratches like crazy. Put it in my pocket. After an hour noticed hairline scratches already. Tf 🤷
This case scratches so easily. Just putting my phone in the case for the first time already caused permanent scratches, on the inside of the case. That’s what you get when you use a clear material that will not yellow: the material is very scratch prone.
I have a couple on the inside of my case as well. Wasn’t sure if that was something that got caught in there or if it’s just from taking my phone out of it
That’s why with the 15 you should get raw titanium, cause that doesn’t scratch as easily

@@Brians_techThe case scratches easily, not the iPhone 15 Pro Max. My issue is with the case. None of my other clear cases scratches so easily. The Ghost Case already looks more worn than my older iPhone 14 Pro Max Cases.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has more rounded corners, so it should not scratch cases as easily, but the material on the Ghost Case, in order for it to not yellow, is much easier to scratch.
Does it fingerprint a lot on the back?
Yeah but it goes away by itself after a couple seconds
Around 6:22 looks like the right edge of the case is kinda warped/wavy??
Might just be the angle. It’s not actually warped.

The case can’t yellow if you never freaking get it! I’ve been waiting A MONTH AND A HALF for ANY update on shipping, and it still doesn’t say anything about when it’ll ship
They’re experiencing some issues. There’s a Reddit threat about it. But they’re working as hard as they can to get it out to everyone.
Is the back slippery?
Eh not terribly. It’s hard plastic with no coating so about as slippery as the back of any other clear case. But the grip on the sides really makes up for it.
Is the speaker and usb port area loose? Or is it tight
It is a bit loose, but I don’t see it being a problem. The rest of the case is on there nicely
The button are all tight? Do you think the back would scratch easily?
@kennardi09 the buttons area is like more cases. It has a little bit of give. The back probably will scratch just because it’s clear plastic. That’s just one of the sacrifices you make with a clear case. The bottom of the back has a tiny raise to it to try to mitigate the scratching a bit

Obviously white would’ve been the best colour to contrast the black inlet of the case

Most easily scratchable case next to apples fine woven case. I do NOT recommend the brand ghost case
I wouldn’t say the most easily scratchable, there’s a lot more cases out there that are worse, but this will get some scratches. It’s a clear case though, that’s kind of expected

Shy of some of Apple’s, this is the worst cases for the money. If you haven’t purchased one yet, DON’T! Not worth the ridiculous wait time nor the price (guess how I know).

Nothing at all. I bought the case on pre order with my own money and they had nothing to do with my video.
I received mine yesterday. Flawless out of the box - no scuffs or scratches. Additionally, there’s no play at the bottom lip, clicky/tactile buttons, strong MagSafe magnet, great grip and thin. The Ghost lives up to the hype. This case is a looker too.

@@Brians_tech dude lol. I just received mine today. Had 3 scratches out of the box...... Used it for 5 hours today, GENTLY, and now there's about 30 surface scratches. How they hell did they not quality check this ? I legitimately NEVER complain about anything.... But this is fucking insane !!!!!
