Makes me wonder what the attempt was. Back in the 70s it could’ve been just how a black man looks at a white woman. Or just get stuck in an elevator with one. Or she doesn’t like the way a black man says hello. Since she was 14 while he was 25.

As someone that's been accused of a crime I didn't commit I can relate on one hand but can't imagine on another. It's disgusting what police and prosecutors get away with and while I only spent 10 months in jail. It cost me everything I've ever worked for from my home, career and ultimately marriage and kids. They make examples out of people that dare go to trial and in my case I was offered probation. If I was guilty I'd have been home in weeks instead of nearly a year. The worst part is the cops and DA knew I had a solid impartial alibi courtesy of British Airways and was literally in front of a British customs officer when my car was involved in a hit and run. But they refused to look into it hoping I'd plead guilty and go home. I later found out it was a detective son driving my car that my ex gf took knowing I'd be away. Not only that but he didn't even spend a day in jail and got less probation than they offered me. It's disgusting and I still have a felony arrest record following me around and while there's tons of evidence proving their wrongdoing there's nothing I can do. I can't even sue.
