DESCRIPTION

Blade made of 80CrV2 steel - The hatchet has a flat-ground blade, covered with black paint, which also protects against rust. The blade material is 80CrV2 carbon steel, a very popular type of steel for outdoor knives, it is very impact-resistant and at the same time achieves high hardness and contains, among others, Vanadium, which makes it keep its sharpness well.
Construction: full-tang - means that the knife is made of one piece of steel running the entire length and width of the handle
Wooden handle - The special shape at the front of the handle and the hole in the blade allow you to grab it closer to the blade, which is helpful even during lighter manual work. The handle linings are made of ash wood, a natural Polish wood, protected with tung oil, fastened with black screws. It ensures a firm grip, both at the beginning and at the end.
Sheath - hand-made of natural black leather. Decorated with trim and fastened with stainless rivets so that the sheath has an elegant appearance and is durable.

Warranty
Our knives are covered by a 24-month warranty. This warranty provides protection against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to both the knife and the holster/bag. If a warranty product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one, at our option. The warranty covers only original, unaltered and unmodified items.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear or natural color discoloration resulting from use.
Way of usage
Remember! All our knives are very sharp. Be careful when handling them!
Do not use your knife for activities inconsistent with its primary purpose! Do not use a knife as a can opener, screwdriver, hammer, chisel, crowbar, etc.
After the knife comes into contact with seawater, blood, fruit or other corrosive agents, always rinse the knife with running water and dry it.
Do not wash the knife with harsh chemicals or in the dishwasher. This may cause permanent damage or destruction.
If you do not plan to use the knife for a long time, protect it with a thin layer of high-quality weapon oil, knife oil or wax. We recommend that you always keep the knife and sheath clean and dry when not in use.
Make sure that your knife is always sharp and can serve you effectively.

Also about the hole, the Terava Skrama has a hole in the blade. They say that is there to keep it straight during the heat treatment. Maybe this is something similar. Could also be used to hang it on a nail😂 or for bending rebar 😂.

I have to admit, Polish tools & cutlery were not on my radar at all, and when you look for famous Polish products you get a long list of foods and beers.😂 I don’t have high expectations, but if they make it through the testing, they are not half bad.
