It might be possible to add the spare snap so that the fold over strap snaps to the inside thereby creating a leather loop that can then be D-ring and another leather belt loop ring added for your belt, Or maybe take the snap off completely and saddle stitch sew the loop closed with the brass D-ring and the leather loop for your belt.

I bought 2 of this one, they came today...wow, just wow...for me, is a combat knife you can use in an extensive list of activities with those 6mm thickness...btw, Sitivien looks like is related to Eafengrow...this knife is perfectly done, notice they use CNC carving
