Gruggs, that is a modern Japanese kwaiken. Small concealable tanto carried especially by women samurai but also by men. Your example has a little extra belly to the blade but it's true to form. That top swedge leaves the diamond piercing point at the tip viewed from the top. Samurai women were expected to bring their own when married. Try some piercing tests on a squash, pumpkin or watermelon. That's a bad axx knife thanks for sharing. Blue it and have less reflection and better rust resistance. Thanks buddy. Still like to see you expand your tests beyond bushcrafting. Cut some rope, slice some cardboard, chop up a chicken through the bones, carve myeat from a leg shank. You are using knives beyond bushcraft yourself, show us some of what you do day to day. ❤
