Still my Favorite Kukri 👍 it looks like they fixed the loose handle issue so far... I will keep pounding and chopping with this one that I won. My old SK-5 Kukri plus is still in excellent condition after years of firewood processing, the handle on my old SK 5 is just a bit loose, however has never been a issue, i could remove it and pack it with shoe goo, that would be a permanent fix. I will do updates on the 52100 thu this winter 👍👍💯😎

First time I've seen the 52100 steel version
and I like the fact that they have that choice, and that price is a dream price. 🇺🇸

The rubber grip is there to reduce shock from impacts.
Another rivet hole that high up the tang would be detrimental to tang strength.
When sheathing and unsheathing keep the pressure up towards the blunt side of the blade so the sharpened edge doesn't drag against the sheath and there will not be any issues with dulling the edge on the sheath.

Cold Steel is one of my favorite blade companies!!! I've used many of these knives and machetes!!!!! I'll be carrying a Recon Tanto & SRK plus a SOG Feild knife. Anyway nice blade you have there!

I bought a CS Gurkha Kukri Plus 15 years ago, and ever since I bought it, the tangs have been rattling around in the handle when I shake it. I was very disappointed as I bought it for $250 at the time. But this Kukri seems very decent.

I have several kukris that I use for clearing brush and saplings. I have a few Nepalese kukris, Condor, spartan harsey, and ColdSteel. I haven't had trouble with my ColdSteel handle yet and the other ones I have are full tang with pinned or bolted scales. I get what you're saying about the handle. My brother's handle is loose on his.

Yes exactly. My point is it can happen. I wan to try and find a Chicago type screw kit I can use to keep the handle in place.

I have the stainless version (CS39LMC4) of this beast in 4034 steel. :)

I do too! Got lucky with points on knife center and paid $120 bucks! Still feel I paid too much for 4034 steel.

Just spent $600 Canadian dollars plus tax for the 3V version. Picking one of these soon as they are a bargain at circa $260.
