Great advice. A lot of times a job and employee just don’t fit. You get a job and months in you discover it just doesn’t fit and no matter how hard you try you will not be success at it
Interviewers know people get fired for all sorts of reasons. I've said position eliminated, contract ended etc.. I've even said layoff when it wasn't.. Most of the time no further questions. Most corporations only give dates of employment nothing else.
I was on the forklift last week and bumped the back of a truck with the front guard as I was loading it, prompting a complaint from the owner. Nobody was hurt and the truck wasn't damaged, but they doing an 'investigation' as if a major crime just took place. Tomorrow, management will be meeting upstairs to discuss my future. I'm only human, and sometimes misjudge situations. Long story short.......not sure if I will still have job by weeks end. 53 and working class......... could be hard to find a job from this point.
Noel I want to give you my platinum mba program for free. I want to help you. Email me at charoun@gmail.com God bless you. I have your back. I promise we will get through this
I have just been fired from a healthcare job despite only being in the company for 2 months..... I relocated for that company and now I am so depressed.... They mentioned I was not fitting in well.... I was learning and growing.... I had a weekly plan set out and was promised that I would be having a meeting every week but that never happened.... In the learning development plan I was given an option whether to get feedback from the manager themselves or from other employees... I chose the first option however today during the meeting they said despite your option unfortunately we still went ahead and asked others about you and without giving any evidence or anything said some doctors and healthcare assistants said they did not like me..... I was shocked.... I spoke to a complaints organisation for legal advice and they said you can appeal the decision and gave me some really good information.... however the upper manager (not my line manager) said there is no appeal process which is strange as every company has a policy where you can argue and put your points and case forward..... I want to take them to court but still I am so hurt, angry and upset that how can an organisation treat someone this way and worse still not let you put your case forward?.....
I’m in the same situation rt now. I just don’t know who to go to for answers. Everyday I think whether I’m worthy to alive on this planet. I’m utterly useless, got fired in three for the same reason. I don’t know what to do
I'm in the same situation myself. I was just terminated during my probationary period. After they made me think that I still had a chance. I felt like something wasn't right and so I packed most of my things before the meetings started.
Insightful! Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this video. Just sharing it here - I've always been passionate about my new job since Day 1 of my training. But when once I was assigned with a client, I couldn't get leads & we were rated based on our acquisition of leads. The client has been telling us that the company's losing money & we are just mere expenses. IDK if I'll still get through this probationary period. It's scary. But if ever they fire me I'm prepared on what to do. ☺️
Ijust got suspended for job performance but they couldn't tell me what i did lol i was hired for 1 thing started working and found out its that plus, plus on top of it we were short staffed so more then enough pressure already but they try to make it seem like its me the whole job was bait and switch to begin with my 1st week 2 ppl walked out bad bad situation altogether.
If you performed poorly then statistically you were not passionate about what you were doing. When you’re passionate then you force yourself to execute competently. Maybe you were passionate…. It’s a good argument tho so this guys advice is pretty decent
Just got notification of getting a release in 15 days Working remotely from home due to a health issue, They said they are not pleased with my performance and want me to join the office with 2 years of commitment or else they'll fire me. Guide me
This is a difficult situation, as there is now an expectation to return to the office after a couple of years of working from home. Is there a hybrid work model that would work for both you and your employer? Compromise can get you far!
@@chris.haroun no sir, it ain't hybrid. It seems they intentionally targeted me because they already knew I just can't join the office, they left me with no options in the first place.

Such a great explaination,
You always tell the facts and the facts are so motivating.
Do you have any course about setting up a tech company?
I'm watching this at work right now
