who would have known that a game about a christ figure doing crazy action shit would fit so well with a movie about a christ figure doing crazy action shit
*After fidgeting with Smith's parameters, leading him to self-destruction* "Then that makes me one ugly son of a bitch. How'd my forehead get marked up with error outcroppings?"

this is amazing. not a single sound of the original remains, but it still remains an engaging scene and even manages to tell a somewhat coherent story.

I think you're on to something. This is like when some guy realized Silent Hill 1's Midwich Elementary school was based on the school from Kindergarten Cop.
Watch the deleted scene from escape from new york. Deus ex was highly inspired from that movie as well. The ending to escape from LA is the dark age ending of deus ex
it's not surprising, in Perfect Dark there's a level I think part of Datadyne that resembles the Matrix Lobby shootout scene and that area was also used in a MP level.... it's a wide hallway with pillars and a elevator at the back, the elevator's bell sounds just like the movie....
Chuma Suey Uuuh, I think it's in my google+ description but I don't remember any more. Just Google "cute eileen the crow" or something, should be easy enough to find since the picture has gotten around a bit by now. ^_^ Also, yeah. Whenever I think back to Bloodborne I remember what an awesomely crafted gem of a game it was. It had so, so, sooooo much more than meets the eye, which was much already. X)
God damn I am nerding out. :28 is just amazing. The thought of a Deus Ex movie with the main character activating Augs with those sounds in the background. HUUUU!!! I need itttt!
Oh wait, you might be right! That may be the Thermoptic Camo sounds! Now I need to go Reinstall and I will inevitably play the entire game again! Maybe it's time to give GMDX a play.
The Matrix was released about a year before Deus Ex and had a clear influence on the game. For example, the look of the MiBs (Men In Black) in Deus Ex was very similar to the look of the Agents in the film. An intentional reference by the devs. There is even a Matrix easter egg in the game. Enable cheats by pressing the default talk button, type "thereisnospoon" while the credits are playing and the game will switch to "Matrix mode".
If this was an actual Deus Ex fight, they'd do a stiff run towards one another and just swing their arms at one another at diagonally downward angles 😆 🤣
Man, I have watched this video so many times because it's funny, and this time I just noticed how awesome it is that the title screen music starts up just as JC Neo stands up to really take the fight to Agent Simons. Here's your op bonus, 200 credits.
Great editing I wondered when the "EGGGYAAYAGGGGAAGGGHHHH!" scream would be used lol.. both (??) times were pretty funny. Maybe niche humor but Deus Ex and the Matrix content being parallel are undeniable! I really like when you chose to use certain bits of the Deus Ex OST lol.. If you did more of the film in this fashion but referencing Deus Ex storyline would be cool to see! I hadn't watched any of the Matrix films again until recently in about 10 years. they're still good but the extended kung fu fight scenes seem a bit longwinded at times, but- that also alludes to the martial arts films that those may have been influenced by.

Its interesting. I think you could take a lot of fights from the Matrix series, not change them at all, and then put them in a hypothetical Deus Ex movie, and just explain their superhuman abilities as nanobots. Hell, I think even the fight against all the Smith clones could be explained as some kind of Helios type AI controlling people. The only fights that would be difficult would be the ones where they are straight up flying, but its not entirely impossible to explains those with nanobots.
2 equally augmented agents fighting to the death. Straight out of the matrix. You can definitely tell that Smith is using the microfibrial muscle augmentation and Neo is using the speed enhancement augmentation. They both however are using the aggressive defense system augmentation.
If you ever time-remap or do slow-mo effects for the guns sounds, it has a better result when you enable "lock to stretch" so it properly pitch shifts. Otherwise amazing video!
In cubase there are different algorithms which preserve pitch while slowing down the audio. Different for voice, drums (which is the closest to sfx, I'd say), orchestra etc. Maybe that helps.
who would have known that a game about a christ figure doing crazy action shit would fit so well with a movie about a christ figure doing crazy action shit
vido ganes don't forget their baggy coats which make them look bigger than they really are
Also don't forget that agents might have copper-wiring to reroute their fear of pain - but Neo's got nerves of steel
Don't forget both Christ figures love Sunglasses
It's because their vision is augmented.
Besides, Bravery is not a function of firepower.
**Smith walks out of train** "You take another step forward, and here I am again, like your own reflection repeated in a hall of mirrors."
*After fidgeting with Smith's parameters, leading him to self-destruction* "Then that makes me one ugly son of a bitch. How'd my forehead get marked up with error outcroppings?"
such a missed opportunity to add that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I find it so amusing - Keanu Reeves is Neo, John Wick, and would be a great pick for JC Denton and Adam Jensen.
Well, by this point he seems a tad old to play a guy straight out of the academy, but Jensen seems like a great fit.
Zeem its so weird for me to realize that I'm older than JC lol.
The creator of this video should just use both in an amalgamation / superdub edit...

Amazing.

That's how JC vs Walton should have been

This makes me want to complete Deus Ex more than anything else
I have played it probably 30 times already. After watching this video, I am reinstalling it again.
me too, but everytime i play it i stop at the freighter
Evey time someone mentions Deus Ex, an .EXE gets executed.
So why haven't you done it yet?
Yeah. Why haven't you already?
I didn't know I needed that until I saw it
I can't even begin to imagine how much work this took you to get perfect. Simply amazing.
Is the battery park subway based on that set?
Tell me, what part of deus ex isn’t based on the matrix in some way
Stephen Johnson Shouldn't take long consider their Instagram page posted the other Matrix video from this channel lol

I audibly gasped when I heard the startup to the Deus Ex Theme. Excellent editing.
God damn I am nerding out. :28 is just amazing. The thought of a Deus Ex movie with the main character activating Augs with those sounds in the background. HUUUU!!! I need itttt!
darnit!!! you had me load up DX again to check the aug sounds vs. the thermoptic camo effects
Oh wait, you might be right! That may be the Thermoptic Camo sounds! Now I need to go Reinstall and I will inevitably play the entire game again! Maybe it's time to give GMDX a play.
That music and those sounds are spot-on!

what about deus ex with matrix sound effects

I'm enjoying these videos.. keep em coming!! The sound effects make the scene wildly entertaining and yet they fit right in ..
You even used my favourite track from the game to open this, good fucking stuff m8.
Perfectly made, so underrated unfortunately.
Y'know, the hilarity at base level aside, the dialogue and music as actually pretty fitting and badass, at least IMO.

Awesome. The music makes this so much better than the original.
I dunno if it is me only, but I think Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving would be amazing candidates for live action JC Denton and Walton Simons
I over 100% agree with you.
This is how I imagined nano-augs would fight.
