The weird thing is we're not to far from when this game takes place. And given the state of our society this setting scares me more than it entertains me.
+TheFroKnight So true man. Its going to be crazy when people are going to be on one side pushing for freedom to do whatever they wish augmentation wise and another wanting to put strict government regulation. That day will indeed come as technology is advancing at such a rapid pace. This game is very real in what will happen in possibly the next 10-20 years.

Well...all i know is: ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!!! Muahahahaha!...Anyway i like the concept/theme of this game...but to close to where things might be going??..in this world??....Interesting FoSho.......Hmm
This trailer makes me sad. It's so obvious that Mankind Divided was meant to be a bigger game but the shekelsteins at Square Enix pushed it out the doorstep. The trailer strongly suggests that Marchenko would be a much more fleshed out villain, whereas in the actual game he just sort of appears... and then sort of dies, ending the game in an incredibly anticlimactic way. All these interesting plot set ups just to end it so abruptly - what a shame. Mankind Divided honestly felt like half of a game. It should be named Deus Ex: The Cliffhanger instead. And I wonder how much actual content the introduction of Breach mode cost us...
I agree that it seems a lot was cut. the character in the yellow hood is barely in the game. he walks by you at the train station just prior to the bombing. then there's the 3d printed Aug city which we never got to explore. like you said, marchenko was barely a factor. but even with all that being said, it was still a great game. atmosphere and game play were on point. it's just the story that seemed to get short shrift
Yeah, it feels like it ends halfway through. I actually thought, right after beating Marchenko 'this better not be the end of the game', but, y'know, jokingly. Only then the game ended. Massive disappointment and it's a shame too, since it plays so much better than Human Revolution.
What I think is that Deus Ex reboots were meant to be a trilogy but Square Enix decided to split Mankind Divided into two games to milk more cash. Hence we will see two more Jensen games with the last connecting the plot to the original Deus Ex. After that hopefully we will see a DX1 remaster.
9 years later I keep coming back to this trailer and it gives me goosebumps everytime. Micheal Mcann's OST is still unbeaten outside of maybe FromSoft or MGS. It's criminal this doesn't have a sequel yet.
Pwasma Dwagon CGI stands for "Computer Generated Imagery" which is a form of computer graphics application. Harrison Jaeger's statement is somewhat pointless, but he is right to refer to what is presented in the trailer as graphics. I guess not knowing this makes you an ignorant dumbfuck.
FlakiCiociGosi we are obviously refering to game graphics generated with a graphics engine. His comment refered to teh classic bait developers use, showing pretty games and then downgrading the visuals, please try harder :v
0:16 Another Symbolism "Jason Bourne, The Bourne Identity when the fisherman find him dead in the ocean" 0:54 Metal Gear Solid, " Solid Snake Invisible Camouflage and Cigarette" ^^ 2:21 The Creation of Adam By Michelangelo' 2:23 Pegasus Meteor Fist (Saint Seiya) 2:39 Solidus Snake in the final fight of MGS 2 say to Solid Snake "this should be your fight as well Brother" ^^ 3:02 Crisis "Armor Activated"
I like how the trailer not only implements and shows off every one of Adam's new augs, but almost everything he does in the trailer you can do in the game. All the characters from the trailer and events are recognizable in the game. Literally perfect honest marketing. Btw the game is a must buy. 10/10.
This might as well be the most recent comment here, because I can't help but come back to this trailer, only to fill the hype in my heart that will never be fulfilled. We've been robbed of a proper ending/tie-in to the OG Deus Ex and the end to Adam Jensen's character arc. Studios and their decisions like what they did at Eidos just makes me want to quit gaming in general. I hate it so much.

+Lawrence Kazzazi What if I lose a limb on a job accident or I really want to be a pilot but I don't make the cut. There are augmentations for that but people are gonna be against it when really it prohibits me from doing a job that matters. Now I'm having thoughts on what North Korea might try to pull if they get augmentations for there military.
TheFroKnight Ain't going to disagree with you there, you're right. Most of the time there will always be a bad side to something that could be very beneficial to society.
+TheFroKnight augmentations have the promise to benefit society but let's face it only the super rich and powerful will ensure only they will have access to the tech.
grey death is herealready, let's go
It's been 5 years since this trailer, can we get a 3rd installment already!?
@DBNROP no. The last game sales were so bad. There won't be another
@@jalaldino I doubt the Avengers will save the day.
Well it's the 5th Deus Ex lol
Thanks to the Avengers, we won't be getting that
3rd? 3RD?? YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE LEGENDARY JC DENTON?
"...the darkness must end." Proceeds to kill everyone in the room
Gorgeous cinematics. Can't wait to see the gameplay!
What if this is gameplay. Think about it.
Marcous_cous U dream too much bro
Marcous_cous At the end they list the animators of the "CGI trailer", so definitely not in-game.
square enix cgi kings :O
Well...all i know is: ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!!! Muahahahaha!...Anyway i like the concept/theme of this game...but to close to where things might be going??..in this world??....Interesting FoSho.......Hmm
10 years laters, still having chills about this serie ...
Am i beyond redemption ?
only been 6 years fam
We All fans are
This trailer makes me sad.
Completely agree, this game was a let down story wise. I think it improved in every other aspect but the story truly made this feel like half a game.
Yeah, it feels like it ends halfway through. I actually thought, right after beating Marchenko 'this better not be the end of the game', but, y'know, jokingly. Only then the game ended. Massive disappointment and it's a shame too, since it plays so much better than Human Revolution.
tstochuj probably another hint for third (or an ending) for the universe. mankind divided barely covers deus ex's prologue
I forgot to watch this yesterday
coming back here after embracer canceled the MD sequel, RIP Deus Ex
Whenever I want *goosebumps* , I come here.
2:08 forward .
I Got the chills .
+NoxarN7 Michael McCann effect.
+Engelhart God, I love that composer. I want him to make soundtrack for my funeral. I would left this world as epic as it gets.
One of my favourite games to date. I hope we get another Deus Ex soon.
Sadly, it won't be happening anytime soon 😢
"So much pain, so many lies, their darkness must end"
9 years later I keep coming back to this trailer and it gives me goosebumps everytime.
Micheal Mcann's OST is still unbeaten outside of maybe FromSoft or MGS. It's criminal this doesn't have a sequel yet.
LOOK AT ALL THE GRAPHICS THAT WONT BE IN THE GAME!
Harrison Jaeger who cares about graphics?!
Harrison Jaeger the graphics can only kill the games...
Harrison Jaeger Its not "graphics", its CGI, you ignorant dumbfuck xD
Pwasma Dwagon CGI stands for "Computer Generated Imagery" which is a form of computer graphics application.
Harrison Jaeger's statement is somewhat pointless, but he is right to refer to what is presented in the trailer as graphics.
I guess not knowing this makes you an ignorant dumbfuck.
FlakiCiociGosi we are obviously refering to game graphics generated with a graphics engine. His comment refered to teh classic bait developers use, showing pretty games and then downgrading the visuals, please try harder :v
0:16 Another Symbolism "Jason Bourne, The Bourne Identity when the fisherman find him dead in the ocean"
0:54 Metal Gear Solid, " Solid Snake Invisible Camouflage and Cigarette" ^^
2:21 The Creation of Adam By Michelangelo'
2:23 Pegasus Meteor Fist (Saint Seiya)
2:39 Solidus Snake in the final fight of MGS 2 say to Solid Snake "this should be your fight as well Brother" ^^
3:02 Crisis "Armor Activated"
I love that in the end Icarus main theme plays.
Better than cyberpunk2077
much
Nah .
CP 2077 are nothing comparate to this masterpiece
I always thought JC was a badass. Adam is insane.
Adam is the most badass character in videogames today. Period.
Nah Vault boy rather than
More badass then JC ? Lol you wish
Definitely more badass than JC
@@DevilWolf000 Absolutely more badass than JC
I like how the trailer not only implements and shows off every one of Adam's new augs, but almost everything he does in the trailer you can do in the game. All the characters from the trailer and events are recognizable in the game. Literally perfect honest marketing. Btw the game is a must buy. 10/10.
Year 2024 and this trailer still gives me goosebumps 😍😍😍
Two cool lines
1- I once thought I could save the world, now look at it
2- Sometimes you just have to let go and embrace watch you've become
Sad truth is, maybe one day all this will be real.
Tada Bandri its already happening, augs are being made as we speak.
I would like to everything be real deus ex human revolution and deus ex mankind divided be real
Hi from 2020, yes it’s real
@@maldbai Oh yeah, forgot about that.
It already is, but not with augmentations
The real C Y B E R P U N K game.
Need a third game to complete series
This is one of my favorite trailers. Ever.
My too
doesn't matter how many times i watch this, i love it every time. Michael McCann is a music master
Here after the SE sold the IP to Embracer…hoping for a new title.
😂 you got the update?
This might as well be the most recent comment here, because I can't help but come back to this trailer, only to fill the hype in my heart that will never be fulfilled.
We've been robbed of a proper ending/tie-in to the OG Deus Ex and the end to Adam Jensen's character arc.
Studios and their decisions like what they did at Eidos just makes me want to quit gaming in general. I hate it so much.
This is THE game i'm waiting for this year because you play it with your brain and heart on.
I love a trailer to a game that shows what you can do in game instead of lying to you. Deus ex and x-com two have delivered on their gameplay promises and more through their trailers.
Yup. Everyove shown here was in the actual game
Apparently, Adam drank a lot of Red Bull..... Gives you wings, right? *Slowly slinks away*
One of my all-time favorite games from 2011 gets the sequel announcement I wanted 4 years later. Thank you Eidos Montreal and Square Enix. You've made a fan quite happy. Now the hype and wait begins.
Embracer... Their darkness must end!
I am thrilled they brought back the composer for Human Revolution, Michael McCann. The music is essential to the experience and Human Revolution's original score was incredible.
Carnage Racing I agree. My favorite soundtrack from Human Revolution was the main menu music. I could listen to it for hours.. And the music here starting from 2:27 is similar to Icarus from Human Revolution.
Man, Elias Toufexis nailed the voice acting
Michael Mccan for soundtrack again, superb :)
Yeah the soundtrack in HR was notably great
People didn't appreciate this game when it came out, then retroactively decided to like it when it was too little too late
The worlds most underrated masterpiece
thats what ps4 needs. fresh games, fresh graphics. not reamasters all the way.
For a sec I thought it was a remaster lol
True bro
I guess fresh would mean a new IP but okay...
ha_CK_er4 that was cinematic, not gameplay graphics.
ha_CK_er4 bloodborne, the order, little big planet, guilty gear, driveclub all camebefore the last remaster, last of us.
2:20
fighting scene gives me chills.
cant wait for this game
Probably the most underrated game of all time.
Why is this so underrated and where’s the sequel???????
This is not cyberpunk nor should they considered to be in the same category
THIS IS Deus Ex Mankind a game in a league of its own
Well, the genre is Cyberpunk
This trailer still remains a work of art, especially the freeze framing when Jenson is in battle, love it!
The message is ringing more and more true with every day that goes by.
