Cool idea for a short informative video Joe. I bet a lot of people, ( including me ) never knew how hat sizes were measured. I don’t know why, but you cracked me up using the charging cord to measure 😂. Innovation at it’s finest !

🤣 do you have a seamstress tape at home? Most people don’t and if they are under 30 I bet the don’t know what it is. I had to come up with a solution for the younger generation. I even has a solution to measure with an apple charging block and an iPhone if they didn’t have a tape measure 🤦‍♂️ but we kept it simple. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching.

My head is weird, in felts I can fit a 6 7/8 after steaming the band and making it oval because it fits so tight on the sides. Now with straws, I am a 7 1/8 which now fits well on the sides but loose in the front and back. I need help 🤦🏽‍♂️

Sounds like you need a 6 7/8 round straw

What are the size increments from one size to another on a fitted? Meaning I’m considering a 7-3/8 and thinking i may need the 7-1/2, but wondering how much by inches is the difference? Oh and these are baseball hats fitted.

Go Custom, just buying a hat with your head size is only one piece of the puzzle you need to figure out. Or at the bare minimum, bring the hat to a place that can create a better fit to your head.

Unfortunately, a lot of the country has a little to no access for hat shaping. And if you do have a good western store, the chances of them having a good hat, shaper are very slim. Custom works if you can get to a place.

SO I have fairly large muscles on the side of my skull just above the ear/eye plane., when i talk or chew, my hat bobs up and down with the muscle contraction. It's very annoying, and looks odd.. is there anything I can do to size for this.. or am I stuck fasting as a mute when my hat is on.

I would say the hat you are wearing isn’t fit correctly. If you have a round head your long oval hat would fit tight on the sides with room front to back. You may have a combination of that and your hat is too small. You may need to steam the hat and wear it several times over the course of a week or two to get it fitting right, if you don’t have access to a store with a qualified hat shaper.

@Cowboy Cartel Group possibly, I do need a bit of fitting tape front to back . I will have to steam it myself as I live in a small farming town made up mostly of Mennonites and hockey rinks. Thanks for the advice. I'm learning a hell of a lot watching your channel.
