Just an FYI, the auto land doesn't do anything to make up a landing spot. You just flew through areas that were landable but required you to adjust your ship a bit.

I don’t play Elite Dangerous any more since I started getting broken missions that could only be done in Odyssey. I bought Horizons because I wanted a flight simulator not a first person shooter.

The thing that causes that glow is the visible stars on the galaxy map, if u zoom in on on of the bright stars the star will have a halo around it. I have never approached a halo before tho so this was cool to see.

4:50. That's why I don't like the Asp. Feels like I'm flying an anvil. Also why my diamondback has grade a engineered thrusters. After dying on 2g worlds on three separate occasions I upgraded my thrusters. It still has 61ly jump range. Shields, srv, afmu, and even weapons. Don't know how it all fits. I also engineered my distributor with engine focus. So I can keep boosting.
So at 9:30, My brain thought you were in the asp, so when you crashed into the planet, not to mention flying so low. I had flashbacks to when Idid that on my stream.

11 earth masses. Wouldnt that mean 11g on the planet? Even if its just 3,3g i am impressed you can land there. In reality this would be enough to crush your bones unless you are a powerlifter and trained to handle such loads. I doubt you' d stay there for long, though.

I think the glow comes from the snowblind planet.

Gravity also factors in distance, so if you increase the mass and volume at the same time you don't get a linear increase in gravity.
