They all don't have a beginning price tag of 50 million. Secondly, they can feasibly and efficiently move more overburden than dozers, loaders and trucks
Mega mine that run just one, or 2 mega dragline alteast several hundred acre of mine land, and mine than utilies it far less busy than mine without it, so much amount of work force she can replace.
Wrong , the drag lines in Alabama coal mining are around a billion dollars a year from the man hours and the energy it take stop operate them plus the room and board and all the amenities along with the initial cost of the drag line itself ... $100 mil only gets you the drag line itself and that's it but it doesn't even come close to full operational costs for a year ... Not even close ....
