@@jvoxfox Your reactions are so unique given how much you have studied. Truly remarkable to me that you have only reacted once to Angelina Jordan who is the only music prodigy I know of who specializes in vocals. From age 6 through 13 covering 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 different genres and adjusting her voice for each song. I apologize for not watching many of your other reaction videos because I spend so much time introducing as many people as possible to a once in forever musical artist. If you know of another with such a resume then by all means I will watch every reaction you do to that artist.

I love that 'competing' channels can interact with each other. Maybe we need to have collaboration episodes on either reactions or maybe a song together. Add in Hannah Bayles and Beth Roars and I would be giddy. Of course, a reaction to a 4 minute song could be 45 minutes of fangirling and technical deep dives.

For Americans or British singer to success is nothing out of ordinary for they can be easily scouted by some American or British Label/Company. But for a Filipino/Filipina you have to make so much of an impact before you can get a peak in that stage. So thanks for the Producers of Miss Saigon that went all the way across countries to audition cast. Thanks you for Lea Salonga. She has and still is an Icon in International Theatre, TV and Film.

Julia, thank you for your in depth reaction to Lea. Her articulation is off the charts and in no way does it take away from the emotional moments of the song. This particular performance is one for the books and will never be forgotten. As much as we, the listening public, enjoyed this so much, the reaction of vocal coaches such as yourself has been extraordinary. Would you agree this was the closest musical moment to "perfection" you have ever heard?

She is the best Eponine ever, but she also played Fantine in Broadway's revival of Les Mis in 2006. It was as Kim in Ms. Saigon, though, that she won both the Tony and Laurence Olivièr awards. A true legend.

This is my favorite version of this song. Lea's approach is different than any other that I've heard. Her annunciation is so clear. She stretches out words and pauses for greater effect, and she connects phrases like no one else. Truly a memorable performance.

Julia I have so enjoyed watching your reactions. I have been so grateful for your articulation that helps even the most inexperienced non musician understand musical cadence and pentamiter and all the intricacies of vocals and singing as an art. And the times you have spend venturing put of your own wheelhouse and preferred musical genres have been so enjoyable. Even when you absolutely fell head over heels for the likes of Tatiana of Jinjer and Phil Anselmo of Pantera. You have truly been a joy to watch, and I will continue to support your channel because you don't do these videos like ever other Joe Blo poser reacting to songs just because there are 40 other reactors watching the same song. That grows actually very annoying to watch. All that being said I have probably the most poser request ever, given your particular set of skills and knowledge and most likely roledex of artists. Would you react to some Josh Groban. I absolutely love his voice and power when he sings. It's really depressing for me because it makes me envious of my younger self. I have over the years lost my higher register because of being around too much smoke resulting in soooooo much coughing. And all.singers know that coughing destroys your vocal.cords. I miss having that kind of voice like in my old choir and church choir days. Julia I hope you stick around for a long time because you one of the few reactors that really is meaningful here with your feedback upon viewings. Not to mention absolutely stunning and beautiful 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Such an amazing version of this song, so glad you did a reaction to it. Carrying on with Les Mis, have you heard/seen John Owen Jones singing "Bring him home" if not would love to see a reaction to it

In terms of giving a reaction, you are so technical yet explaining it in a very understandable way. Superb

She was my introduction to any version of Eponine, and remains my favorite.
On another note, I don't know if you're familiar with the teenage singing ventriloquist, Darci Lynne, but I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on how she can "throw her voice" and SING so clearly and well without using her mouth to shape the sounds. Here are the two best I've found:
    ruclips.net/video/tHBXrzaKF4w/видео.html "Preacher"
    ruclips.net/video/nYH0ymEZVDE/видео.html "O Mio Babbino Caro" ( Yes....she did O Mio Babbino Caro...through a rabbit puppet).

For musical theater singer performing 5-6x day, the smart thing to take care of their voices is doing what Lea is doing! She’s destroy herself if she doesn’t apply the classical techniques in her singer! Period. 😁

I know how much you enjoy the low notes; I recommend checking out Geoff Castellucci. He's a solo production, which means he's also got the range to hit the higher harmonizing notes. Sixteen Tons cover seems to be one of his better productions, and I think you'd really enjoy it.

As far as I know she was the first asian to encounter discrimination because of her race but she slams them down with her talent
