- A montage from the East coast VFA squadrons of Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic. This video was first released at the annual Strike Fighter Ball 2018. It documents a year of footage compiled from squadrons stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana. A look into the "work hard play hard" mentality of the nation's best NAVAL AVIATORS! FLY NAVY!
Dedicated to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Tinder, I don't know where to start with my review of this edit. As you have seen in my earlier comments on your other edits, it is evident we are not just amazed by the quality of the content, though impressed by the realness and depth of what it means to be a Fighter Pilot. Despite there being no narrations to this this edit, you have managed to capture and deliver what a year in the life of a Naval Aviator is. This edit successfully shows the fun times, the hard times, the survival times and the reflecting times. These 9 minutes and 25 seconds have been played over and over again in this household and every time we watch we are stoked with enjoyment, stressed by the mission and tear up in memory of those lost serving to protect our country. Thank you Tinder. Thank you for your service and for sharing this ball edit with us. Going to watch one more time. Will toast tonight in honor of She-Ra and Drama .

Spot on 0101. I wanted to be a military aviator more than anything when a car accident in my late teens took that opportunity from me. These movies often tear me right down the middle: They are amazing, but knowing i'll never do it brings a bit of depression. The closest i'll get to flying an F-18 is through DCS and my simpit, but ya got to play the cards you're handed.
Red/Green color deficiency is what ended it for me. I had taken many flights lessons in Civil Air Patrol and had no idea I had any vision issues until I went to MEPS. It was the worst shock of my life at the time.

I am curious. What happened to the fish
You know at 100,000 ft above sea level we could fly with no fuel if we can achieve mach 9347 approx. Using the equations used for satelights to maintain orbit. The higher the altitude the slower the speed is required to maintain orbit
But that's impossible or is it.
It is. Even if an object we're to obtain such speed, that would put it well beyond escape velocity. And At 100,000 ft the atmosphere is still substantial enough that if the object were to maintain altitude, drag would (eventually) slow it down enough to cause it to descend
