I’m sure glad The NAVY allows you to share with us what you all do every day. What an awesome job you have. I have great respect for all the hard work and dedication to get to where you’re are. Thanks, and keep these videos coming. They’re great.
These vids are so awesome. I don't know if you were in the group but I was on the ramp and got a bunch of photos for you guys when you came through AFW (Ft. Worth Alliance) on the way home from this deployment. This is so cool to see what you guys did during that cruise. VICTORY!
This is now one of my new favorite channels on YT. Right next to Reach Pilot’s channel. Glad I found you 👍 Thank you for your service to our country. FJB..
Alex I’m very excited and proud of you all serving your country and most of all flying the F-18 and all of your earned the wings of gold and I’m looking forward to seeing this one
I used to fly helos to oil and gas drill rigs and production platforms in the GOM. I always enjoyed watching you guys during the training phases on the carriers 👍🇺🇸 (I was also impressed with the performance of the W S Sims) Thank you for your service 👍🇺🇸
Thank You for your service. Awesome vids; thanks for the peak. Thanks for what you and the rest of the sailors and others are doing...serving our country!
I just came over from your top gun evaluation. I would have never guessed that this was you. Anyway, you seem to do great! And thanks for the evaluation.
Sir, I'm really grateful for these videos, as they are very exciting to me, as I've said before it was always my dream to fly jets for the Navy, and I didn't tell you this part but it was because I got in serious trouble at age 17 with a fire at a deer camp and gave me a felony and there goes my dream, and I didn't know it then but and nobody told me back then but apparently I may have been able to get a waiver to get it drop so I could go to the military and I really wish I would have known that but whatever it is what it is I'm 50 years old then I can't cry about spilt milk but what I can do is watch your videos so thank you
Fandabbydozy Alex, your videos are superb! Back in 80s/90s my job was assembling navigation systems, at home of TIALD pod & night vision goggles! Cheers from Edinburgh
Me encantan sus videos señor .ALEX gracias por compartirlos. Siento un gran respeto .por usted y sus compañeros.un gran saludo desde Madrid España. Que Dios los proteja.👍👏🇪🇸🇺🇲
Thank you for these videos and thank you for your service, thank your boss also for allowing you to make these videos and post. I love watching these and it makes me kick myself every time for not going into them NAVY or Air Force but at the time I could sign up my eye sight was getting bad and at the time all I wanted to do was fly, if I could, I did not think about all the other things I could have done. Thanks again you and your crew stay safe.
You're a good pilot when you fly an F/18. You know that you're an awesome and lucky pilot when you've flown all of those: Spitfire, Mustang, DC3, DC4, Twin Otter, Beaver, Phantom F4, and a.... Cessna 170 of course ;)
And luck. If you’ve been through flight school and then made a career outta flying, timing and luck play a critical role as well. Of course you gotta have minimum jet grades in primary to get tailhook but I’ve known plenty with super high nss that end up doing maritime or rotary
On my first aircraft carrier as a nuclear trained MMC(SS) I was sitting in DC central with the Reactor Department Officer, a full commander, when the CO made an all hands annoucement that CAG had made the 30,000ths arrested landing in 3 years onboard USS Carl Vinson. He looked over at me and said, "Chief, something you can do 30,000 times in 3 years is not that impressive." And we contiued to smoke our Punch Rothchilds. Well said, MO Gamma.
Gung ho videos post videos sometimes of in cockpit views while the aircraft are flying. Also Reach pilot flies for the USAF as a C130 pilot and post videos quite regularly.
Sorry to hear that. Videos have to be vetted to ensure no sensitive information is released. These videos are different perspectives of administrative flight operations and do not contain sensitive or classified information. I hope that answers your question.
It was a dod facility that stores the go juice for your carriers, It was outside the fence and I didn't show the facility, matter of fact it was a giant hole in the ground, they did say I did a good job editing that out but there's a no photo/video policy, so I said maybe you should remind your people of that because I didn't film until I saw others doing it, people who were now pointing their fingers at me. They don't even want to talk about vetting, and this place is navy. I hope you get the ad revenue
Okay it took me a long time to figure out who Alex Bowman was and we're heard the name. There's also an Alex Bowman that drives NASCAR, and apparently you're not that same Alex Bowman, you're the real Alex Bowman

So the new VFA-103 livery is quite minimal. Looks cool, but I do like the ol' black and gold coloring. Nice vids man, keep em coming! Love 'em!
I believe the CAG plane is still sporting the OG colors
Y’all are so amazing. May God protect you on your missions.

Back in the 1970’s I use to stay how lucky these pilots were….. it’s not luck. It’s years of study, training, and hard work. God bless our military.
And money. 🇺🇸

@@FlyNavy2004 WELL SAID
awesome
Hi Mr. Alex Bowman.
How do you land in the Aircraft Carrier in the fog weather, do you have ILS system?
Congratolations for the videos.
the F18 has ILS and ACLS
On my first aircraft carrier as a nuclear trained MMC(SS) I was sitting in DC central with the Reactor Department Officer, a full commander, when the CO made an all hands annoucement that CAG had made the 30,000ths arrested landing in 3 years onboard USS Carl Vinson. Nice!
That mustache should give you another 10 knots of airspeed
"The Bones" oh man miss seeing those tail fins flying by
God Bless all our Naval Aviators!
AWESOME 🇺🇸👍
You had me at I ♥️ Mom. Lol
Navy pilots are the coolest mofos on the planet.

What’s the most Gs you pulled in this video
Do you fly every day?
WOW!!
You could totally be Tom Cruise’s stunt double 🤗🥰
That has to be the best job in the world!!
This new Top Gub movie is insane..
6:03 man that ship is MOVING
Rest of the fleet just off cam or was the carrier alone?
so this was the same carrier used in top gun?
how do you get away with filming this, I filmed some DOD stuff and it wasn't even showing this kind of stuff and I got in big trouble for it

5:36 --- You know you've made it in the world of aviation when you earn the callsign "Fat Hands".
7:48 goose tag toss
Top gun, cool
HOW DO HE GOT THOSE DCS GRAPHICS
The thing is, everytime ya climb in that cockpit is that everything will work properly. That Murphy stays back on the ground
A paz no mundo depende de você e eu me orgulho de estar do lado certo.
I want to do this when I get older.
I was a crew member 95-97 V-4 DIV I slept under #4 arresting wire.
