Daytona's look very large with those pushers and crown until you put it on your wrist then it totally changes , scale is everything , beautiful watch .
Ice Blue Platinum Daytona is such a special price. The dial colour is amazing. Are there any other Rolex watches with an ice dial?
The platinum Day-Date also comes with an ice dial
All platinum watches from Rolex have an ice blue dial.
@@VarunSagar20 actually, not quite all of them - some of them are fitted with silver dials. Most of those, though, are ladies pieces
Amazing informative review
that is a handsome watch.( this guy doesn't even take a breath in his presentation )~ JDS/CT
The ultimate Daytona. Thank you for the presentation. Stay healthy and safe.
You are a moron.

Amazing. If I ever find it m, I will surely put it on my wrist. Beautiful timepiece.
The watch the myth the legend
Alright I’m getting one of these
See y’all in a few years I’ll let y’all know when I get it lol
I’d buy that today
Lovely watch
Such a nice dial and case makes the boring case back stand out even more.
This watch is so beautiful
I pray these will still be available at the AD 5-10 years later when I actually start to make some money :(
If you want it in 10 years I suggest getting on the wait list now
@@WatchUnwind yeah except that watch will be discontinued in max 3 years. And theres no wait list for this watch - if you arent a Rolex VIP you can forget "ordering" it. This watch sells for close to 200k now
I didn't notice those diamonds , very subtle luxury .
Much nicer then the steel one ☝️
It has to be. Considering the price difference.
Mine says "winner 24 ad daytona"what does it mean ?
Means it’s fake
What is the price if you buy the Daytona Platinum at Rolex direct? (Listprice)
AD told me about $75k without baguettes, $81k with. Double that on the grey market.
@@chriselley2261 thank you
@@chriselley2261 why it’s on double in gray market?I think it should be half🤔

Best Daytona
I just want t know t price I’m going t sell pat min repeter this fall 31) trip. Signed pocket wtch
The other platinum daytona is now a grail watch of mine. Talk about the "I made it" watch and it still has value over say paying $25k for a Hulk (also a grail at rrp). I don't see losing money on either of the Daytona's either, probably not going to go up a lot but definitely not a terrible investment.
Do people who can actually afford this watch really care about seeing this an investment? If the ceramic submariner you buy is worth more than the car you drive, then yeah, “investment” might be important. But if you have the wherewithal to buy a $90k watch, I’m going to assume you’ll pay no mind to the watch’s used value.
@@poopy_fingers3324 Many do care. If you had a choice of two $90,000 watches, one was worthless on the 2nd hand market and one held/ gained in value, wouldn't you pick the watch that appreciates? If you liked them equally?
Conversely, one major reason a watch appreciates is because it is more desirable. It can gain in value because it is rare, and that makes it an exclusive watch to wear or because it is simply a good looking watch.
Appreciation is a byproduct of desirability, craftsmanship and rarity and visa-versa. They go hand in hand.
Also, wealthy people generally make good business decisions and consider a watch's appreciation as a part of the collecting experience.
Of course there are those watches that you just have to have, no matter what it's worth to anyone else and cheers to you - you found your grail watch.
I was referring to a casual watch buyer. But I guess there is no such thing as a casual watch buyer anymore.
I have personally never understood the appeal to the Daytona. Other options like the Omega Speedmaster have the same amount of history and a better value. That said, I respect Rolex and their timeless designs. Thanks For the great video Tim!
Range Rover or Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Daytona watches are for petrol heads, sports car lovers in other words, if you are not then they have no appeal to you.
@@barryreeve5761 - that's a bit like saying the Omega moon watch is only for astronauts.
John Holland who buys a Daytona a watch that measures the speed of a car. If you was to ask all the people who bought a Daytona did you buy that for your love of sports cars a resounding answer would comeback yes.
Omega moon watch is bought by people who have a fascination for outer space it has never appealed to me but does for a lot of people so those that do want to buy a piece of history good luck to them.
@@barryreeve5761 - people buy watches because they like them not because of there stated use. The "moon watch" is also called a 'speed master' and it can also be used to time a car's speed over a distance or anything else like a boiling egg. Most people that buy a Daytona wouldn't know how to interprete the time of a speeding car using there watch. Like seriously, how many people buy the 'submariner' to go scuba diving? Some but hardly any.
Love is in the air
Damn, this one is not cheap.
Ok. Easy. I just need to save 100,000. Wish me luck.
Good luck 🍀
I just find the chocolate bezel and the ice blue dial doesn't quite gel
For that price you buy patek
Yeah except you don’t get a lot of patek for 100k. A nautilus - no thanks
Doesn’t hold a candle to a hublot Big Bang
If you demand the finest in chronometry, you have to look to Japan. We all know that. #springdrive
Dude needs a manicurep
cant get over the fact that bracelet doesent really fit the case..
