Everyone bargains for the price of every item we buy from the streets so it was really amazing to see how you managed to get the shorts for $7 instead of 12!, I have been following your journey throughout my country and I am so glad to see your honest opinions about it, we need more tourists just like you who can appreciate the beauty of my country and also point what we can do better to improve, thank you!
Thanks! When I replayed the beginning footage that I did not include I actually found out they tried to charge me $14 at first for a pair of shorts! When editing I thought it started off at $12. I really wanted the shorts and did not want to be overcharged. I usually give a portion or all of the difference back as a tip. In the end, I like to catalogue these type of encounters so myself and the viewing public can see the true price of things.

Unfortunately my grandfather worked in those gold mines and got terribly sick and pasted away due to the contaminated air He inhaled working there. There was no work so that was a city of miners and false hopes and broken promises. People were lead to believe that their would be schools and clinics built ect. But they were lead into the mines to dig for gold.... blindfolded like birds in a box. I love El Salvador, being born her in the U.S.A, I really live to see everything I missed out of in El Salvador.
