Thanks Steve, your coupon code saved me £10,£58 Inc postage to UK for a 4 channel plane with brushless motor and gyro, you've got to be crazy to miss out on that.👍😀
Well done Captain Cold, Captain Crash, holy crap !!!! cant make my mind up !!!!!; jokes aside, its hard to reconcile the temperature when there is blue sky's and the sun shining !!!; great little plane BTW !!!!!
The answer is in a response to another comment under this video (in summary I destroyed the nose with my frozen hand making the end of the video… full details in a comment below). You’ll have to wait for the bloopers reel to see it.
The Volantex Sport Cub 500 or Eachine p51 400mm warbird are much better choices. Fly much better straight out of the box. Much better quality. I had to make many adjustments to my Qidi a500 before it would fly properly. Mostly to the elevator and rudder plus added weight to the front. Finally make sure you own a glue gun to fix the nose when you break it after a crash.
If you are out in an area with no people aroung, then no problem. When you fly around people in Canada, especially in parks, they may complain to the authorities, but if no humans are around, then all is well.
I dont think this has enough wing surface for the style and size of the plane. Real bush planes can come in really slow and low throttle like 35mph . Something like this should be more towards a glider. This plane seems like all on the reviews that it needs a bit of throttle to stay up and prone to wingtip stalls like a warbird where you need speed. I decided to get the Kootai J3 Cub instead. Love the classic Piper look better. That one looks like it glides good. Seems like with brushless they need to make the fuselage bigger so they keep the wing size to keep the plane smaller. Fuselage and weight need to be less in proportion to that size of wing for this type of aircraft. A big wing and small fuselodge is characteristic of these planes.
People when you get ready to fly balance the propeller. They are always out of balance. You lose more than 30% of power with an unbalanced propeller. You can hear how unbalanced this prop is statically. I will bet that dynamically it must be a mess. An unbalanced prop will make it even harder to fly in the wind as it sends vibrations to the gyro making it twitchy. Also, nothing is truly ready to fly. Make sure to check everything.

@@jamesgeorge2852Hilarious! That portion of the video was originally much longer, but cut down as it added no value and would just confuse people… as it did to you with your negative view of a damaged plane. When I was done flying and doing my ending, the wind kept blowing the plane out of my hand and causing me to repeat the ending. After it flew out of my hand for the 4th time and bone chilling numbness setting in, I simply held the plane tighter on the nose, and I ended up squishing the nose while the wind blew the plane away. Leaving the segment in the video is funny as hell but it would make people think foam is wimpy (which it is if you squish it in strong winds), and it would take away from the video of the product being micro size, full featured, on sale, and don’t fly on a windy day. However, the video segment of me squishing the nose as the wind bends the plane will be in my 2024 bloopers reel along with other fails which have occurred so far this year. Stay tuned & stop doing drugs. 😂
It is almost always windy where I live and that is a problem for me flying my drones. However, that looks like too good of a bargain to pass up. Thanks for the review👨🦳👍👍😀
Fun video ! 😃
This plane ought to get a lot of people started in the hobby.
Thanks Cap !!
Following Steve's wise words throughout the 8 minutes of this video and After much thinking and consideration...
I think i'm gonna fly in the wind.
When it’s really windy, no one can hear you cursing! 😂
Neat little RC plane and review Steve.
Excellent review video. Very nice mini RC Plane. Thank you Captain Steve.
Hey Steve...what a cool little micro! Great review 😀

During the winter months it is Arctic Temps with blue sunny skies… but plenty of snow & ice on the ground.
nice little plane Steve, great review.
Thanks 👍
At 8:22, it looks like the nose was busted off, but only in a frame or two. Did you break it my Captain?

Thanks, I fly a full scale maule. I'll be buying this now.
Enjoy!
You got luckyyy with that crash the sailors broke the whole front off theirs when they crashed 😅
They do indeed break approx 50% of what they review 🫣

Got a good suggestion for total beginner rc flyer that you can fly in the wind ? This very relatively low cost please
Hey Steve, could I use a 650 mA battery list and have no problems ??
Yes, if it is the correct shape & not too heavy
Could you review the holy stone hs430?
STEVE -- As a Canadian, you should be used to the cold weather, already!
Oh, I’m used to it. One thing to take note is that when it is cold out, you’ll never see anyone else flying but me.
Review a bldc fpv drone rtf kit under 150usd
It would need to be a small one. He has a few review on nano and micro kits

I'm using 6G mode and the plane is uncontrollable. Then do somersaults. What is the cause?
The gyro did not initialize before takeoff
what protocol does it have? can i bind it whit rm 4 in 1 external rx?
and if u can can u do a tutorial to bing all fligt mode?thanks
if u know the protocol pls msg me

Does anyone know what the Protocol is for the RX
Banggood is asking an insane price of over 190.00 CAD its less than 100.00 on aliexpress and I saw the damage was that from the first crash?
Are you smoking drugs or do you live in a part of the world where my discount code doesn’t work? It is $70 US on Banggood when you use my code.
That'd be The front hatch covering the brushless motor that fell off, it's supposed to be removable and was clearly not damaged.
