@@Shelyshocker yeah it’s mixed fan made GFL1 models and GFL2 models. GFL2 models and nicer and fit the visual style better (unless it’s specific xcom made stuff like 45 and M4 Mod3’s mods) but some of the proportions just don’t work out, so I use the GFL1 fan models to fill the gaps.
Man playing GFL2 and being a Xcom "vet" (because I haven't played the OG xcom yet) makes me kinda wish I was still playing as the humans. Sure the meme about 65% point blank or 99% miss lmao is true. The humans in xcom is just OBJECTIVELY a lot more overpowered than the T-dolls. And I'm not talking about the alien tech they scavenged. When a soldier get to colonel, they just becomes a spartan without power armor. And the thing is the xcom 2 soldiers are nerfed compared to xcom 1. Man I miss wiping the entire map with one flying snipy boy or blowing the entire building block with hand held missle, backpack grenade launcher or the absolutely lovely bladestorm one man army. Heck, I haven't even started on the hero faction yet.

It’s a wall of text but no one actually looks into the business side after they learn the oversimplified “oh there’s whales and minnows” and god knows there’s no reason even beyond just the whole that like the feeling of number slowly goes up, big number = you are smart/powerful player! Especially in modern mobage where devs have learnt you have more success by being less blunt with your systems, so invest in obfuscating them instead through gameplay. You want your sold solutions (in time or money) to feel more like a solution that was planned by the player not the service.

Gachas have gameplay now, they have a compelling story now, wake up it's not 2016 anymore, everything changed since Genshin went mainstream. It is a predatory system but other games are just as guilty with premium items and expensive skins, these non-gachas allow you to buy power directly.
I tried putting them all in a mod collection on steam (hoping I didn't forget anything) and linked it in the description now so hopefully it's easier to track down! (I didn’t include the GFL faction mod though, as it’s pretty badly depreciated)
Edit: I put a link to it in the description now! it needs a little bit of messing around, to get it where you want it and I use it in conjunction with the 'Comic' shader (gives the thicker outlines for models' overall silhouette) that you get from the "anime shader" pack if you select it during the reshade install.
