I have Nitecore HU2000 and use it on my job as snow plow operator. It follows each process from approaching truck, checking all chains, engine oil, fluids, hydraulic cylinders on plow, etc. I use MID or 400 lumens primary light mode for these tasks as it's very efficient and bright. When driving I had situations where I used it to light side of road and avoid high obstacle which would potentially damage or crack snow plow. This task was done with TURBO 2000 lumens mode, and it blew away truck's halogen lights which couldn't reach that specific angle which HU2000 easily reached. Another example is urgent stopping to repair or replace tyre chain(s), as they can get damaged while operating on hard surfaces. It happens mostly in pitch black places. And you need light there to anything, where this lights come into play. Easily lights up wide zone, making repairs way more efficient and you're back onto job in no time. I also place NU06 as blinking red to be easily spotted if there's any traffic. EDC 29 would be amazing addition for some situations where I need to quickly light up place, instead of using HU2000 and attaching it to powerbank. It would also make vehicle pre and post-check faster and easier as you can reach different places, instead of leaning under truck with lamp on your head, you could just pop EDC 29 in your hand and light it up. Thanks for chance in giveaway! 👍

I have the older model of the NU25 and the TIP SE. I use the NU25 headlamp for outdoor activities and keep the TIP SE on my keychain at all times. It’s proven extremely useful especially when looking for things in the car. Would really love to try out a beefier EDC light with some brightness for those long night walks that can also be carried for self defence as a blinding/stunning tool. Certainly hope to be able to try out the EDC29. Idk how bright 6500lm is, but I’m certainly sure it’ll do some damage to my neighbours when I test its throw shining out my window.

My first Nitecore was HC68, I chose it for it's e-focus system where I can smoothly transition from floodlight to spotlight. My new Nitecore is the NU53, it provided me with longer battery life. If I don't plan on using it for long hours, I still always prefer to use the HC68 due to its versatility, much quicker controls and wider angle beam. I hope the HC68 will be upgraded to more efficient LEDs and a proximity sensor (it burned a hole on my sheet once)

I got the NU25 UL from the Nightrider bundle. Ive used it on some occasions when riding at night and as a red light beacon. But i use it mostly at home surprisingly, for like when i need to fix things. Headlamps might sound niche for an average joe living in SG but its surprisingly useful for a lot of cases. Of all the lights i currently own i think the NU25 is my most used one

i always think that a solid handheld EDC flashlight like the 35 or the 29 always need a companion headlamp. in this case for me the HC65 will do the best job being well balanced. A headlamp is nice for moving situations, when - said - you gotta move to a place and you carry a backpack and a rifle for example and your hands are occupied. once you get to place, you take out your handheld flashlight which will do a better job because it is more powerful and so you can check out the environment.
Well my favourite combo as i just explained is the EDC 35 or 29 AND a HC65. Perfect combo to be ready for anything. thanks and greets from Italy

    • @NitecoreSG

@@cccarl agree on the use case. Headlamps don’t get a lot of hype compared the handhelds. But their real life utility is used more often.
