I remember as a little girl when this song by the Shangri las came out I wanted to grow up and look like Betty. (the tall girl, 3rd on the left with long brown hair.) That didn't happen.🤐
This looks like a moment of insanity from the 1960's. But I was mesmerised by this little bit of social history. And the girl on the left was bloody gorgeous. She somehow seemed more modern looking in her appearance.
I think the hats are historic, "Three Cornered" or something like that? I'll have to look it up in my third or fourth grade history lesson school books from the mid-sixties?
I saw the girls minus the best looking girl Betty on a tv show in about 1967, and 2/3rds were Ganser girls along with Mary and those 3 blew me away!!! I thought at the time THE BEST LOOKING GROUP OF GIRLS I EVER SEEN!!! I still think they were the sexiest rock group ever!!!! The Ganser girls were gorgeous!!! They just had to kind of take a back seat to the Weiss girls who are second to nobody if you know what I mean!!!!!
