    こんなに日本に行きたいと思ってくれる人がいて日本人としてとても嬉しいです。今私は英語を勉強していますが、日本語はとても複雑で難しいと思います。一緒に頑張りましょう!
    There are people who want to go to Japan so much and I am very happy as a Japanese. I am studying English now, but I think Japanese is very complicated and difficult. Let's work hard together!

    • @updatedotexe
      @updatedotexe 5 лет назад +1

      I think the reason why Japanese can be quite hard is because of the vocabulary and the amount of words you need to learn. Especially for Europeans such as me or Americans, there are not really much connections between the words. The grammar of Japanese might be kinda hard but in fact, if you invest a bit of time in it, it can actually be quite easy, although I sometimes see sentences which could have different possible interpretations / translations which is kinda meh...
      But in the end, the reason why I am writing this in English right now and not in Japanese is most likely because my vocabulary sucks, not my grammar. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Hi Misa! I'm sorry if this question has nothing to do with this video, but I was wondering what I should start learning after mastering Hiragana and Katakana. Should I learn some words? sentences? kanji? the grammar or all of them at the same time? I recently started watching your videos and they've helped me a lot! I hope you can help me by answering this question! Thank you ^^

    • @Flamerate1
      @Flamerate1 6 лет назад +1

      I balance doing most of those together. I'm steadily learning kanji on Wanikani (I NEVER pay for subscriptions, but this one was a really good exception), learning grammar with Tae Kim's Grammar Guide, learning as many miscellaneous vocabulary as possible, and practicing by slowly reading よつばと (totally recommend) and listening to as much as I can before reading subtitles.
      A lack of pure motivation from myself is why I recommend Wanikani. If you have some time everyday to just use it for a little, you can easily learn hundreds of kanji pretty quickly. I've been using it for about 6 months and can fluently read almost 500 kanji. Some people do it faster though.
      Tae was the only free grammar studying option, but I hear it's a little faster than other grammar books.
      Of course I use quizlet to rote memorize everything that will be useful to me.
      Finally, after doing these kinds of things for a few months, you'll be able to start actually reading. THAT should be your semi short goal at the moment.
      Honestly, I'm not sure what the best path is. I would feel bad if anybody was discouraged because I recommended a bad one, but I believe Wanikani and Tae Kim's Grammar guide to be great resources. Thanks for reading!

    Thank you so much for your videos! They help with my self study. Could you do a video on the difference between 〜ている and 〜てある? I am always really confused. Here is an example sentence. 名前が書いてある。

    • @aoiahiru670
      @aoiahiru670 6 лет назад

      てある is when you have a thing/object that has been finished and it physically exists there. Your example would mean that "the name has been written." If you said 名前を書いている that would be "I am writing the name." I don't think you could say 名前が書いている because that sounds like "the name is writing," which doesn't make a lot of sense. Just as a note 書いている is a verb, it's not the English noun "writing" like 書き物.
