This is an excellent review--you deserve more views and subs. I only saw the small number of views after I watched it thinking you had a much larger channel that I just somehow hadn't seen before. Well done! Great tip on switching to Spanish VO. I like Blasphemous, even though I'm terrible at it...
That's extremely kind of you to say, thank you! It was pretty terrible at the game too at the beginning haha-it takes a while but if you stick with it you'll improve more than you might have expected by the end!
I honestly never thought that people meant a game being like dark souls meant difficulty, I always thought it had to do with how you lose your currency on death and have to reacquire it or how the gameplay is much more mechanical, and relies on more dodging and parrying type gameplay
I have to be honest-I haven't played Hades! Blasphemous seemed very hard at the start, and took me a couple of hours to get over the learning curve. After that initial curve though it's a lot more manageable-still challenging, but not overly difficult outside of a few moments (mostly bosses).
@@Tomkon I can wholeheartedly recommend Hades. It's not super hard for most people, but it did take me (who's really bad at games) 86 attempts/runs to win the game. I heard there were people who won the game after about 20 runs, but that's not me.
Dark Souls was and still is super mainstream, part of which is because it was notoriously difficult (possibly impossible) for game journalists, and part of it is that game journalists keep bringing it up
I'm such a stan for this game, it has its flaws. Used to have much more but they really ironed it out with the patches. Amazing game, I have put so many hours into it, as you may have guessed from my profile picture.

Im almost finished the game, I usually hit every wall but I had no idea about the key and the door for the red platform upgrade 😂

Thank you, useful review.
I'm currently playing Hades and was wondering how you would rate the difficulty compared to that.

@@sander_bouwhuis It's definitely on the list of games I want to get around to playing eventually-the art style especially looks fantastic!
I will be damned if you don't have more subs. I love this game. I wouldn't say I'm very good at it. But I soldiered on and enjoyed every moment of it.
I'm happy to heat you had a good time with the game! Glad to hear you persevered with the difficulty, it's worth it!
I’m terrible at this game 😂 It’s very beautiful though. I love the lore and art style.
I know bro there was so many hard games before dark souls was a thought why is everything "dark souls hard"

This game had me crying and satisfied all together. And it is the hardest experience other than being homeless for the first time in my life.
No struggle no muscle
Worse than sekiro?
Man, I’m still playing bloodborne. I don’t think I’ll be able to handle this.
Grande, me suscribo
Nice review 👍 I love blasphemous I just got my platinum yesterday
Great review

By the way, try going in the corners when Our Lady of the Charred Visage when she goes all in with projectiles.
